Ergodyne GloWear 8240HL Two Tone Expandable Reflective Safety Vest, Navy, X-Large/2X-Large

The quality of stitching and design of this is outstanding. I carry a radio, and the shoulder mic straps are very convenient. I use this while on the air field directing airplanes for safety, and know I'll be seen at dusk with few lights around; it is as close to glow in the dark as it gets without it actually being so. The size is good, as the M/L fits me as its tightest setting while my shirt size is L. I am able to have is snug, or very baggy around clothing, increasing its usefulness in all weather.

I love the adjust-ability (girth) of this vest. One think to keep in mind is the white fabric color. If you work in a warehouse environment or outdoors, the fabric will show dirt quickly. Be prepared for that. Also, The vest has one pocket on the INSIDE of the left side. Needs more pockets! One on the outside would be perfect. Overall, I love the vest and its uniqueness. With a few tweaks, it could be the vest to rule all vests.

Tough decision since this one is twice what some of the others are. I keep this in the car for those rare occasions when there's a flat tire or some event that puts me at the side of the road. This easily fits regardless of what you're wearing, a bulky winter coat or a summer T shirt. It's heavy duty, yet flexible so folded up it doesn't feel like the reflective material is stiff and will crack.

Lots of visibility with orange & reflective striping. Vest is cut large in M/L size & has adjustable side bands which comes in handy for a comfortable fit, especially if wearing outerwear. Also has a small pocket (can hold a cell phone, pens etc.)on the inside left side. Mesh lime material increases ventilation in warmer weather. Seems solidly built & worth the cost.

I bought this for use as a Halloween costume. I didn't want to buy a $5 vest and throw it away after the parties so I figured I'd invest a little more and put it in my truck afterwards. I got the vest quick and it worked great. It's comfortable with the adjustable side straps and the inside pocket was handy to hold the wife's chapstick. <grin> No complaints.

I purchased this product to keep in the truck in the event of roadside repairs and for use at night when working outside. Fabric is light weight and breathable but bright and visible both in the daytime and at night with light reflecting from vest. The XL/2XL Size is plenty big for someone who normally wears a 3xl T-shirt with adjustable tabs on each size to make smaller or larger.

The size and fit is for fat people, not tall people. So for the larger size, I had to put it on as tight as I could to make it not look silly, but it was several Inches short of my belt line and looked silly because. I'm about 6 foot 2 and they need to make an "XLT" for me to buy again.The look is important, because I purchased it to work a high end function.

Didn't realize how useful something like this is until our son gave us one. I feel much better about my husband walking the dog at night, especially since we don't have streetlights in our area.
