This is the best jack for the price I have used. It was fairly cheap and it does everything I have asked perfectly.

well, I lifted a loaded 40 ft highboy around 7 to 8 inches. so for me it was a success. I did however have to remove the black spring thingy. ( which makes it go down) in order to fit the lifting mechanism that attaches to the corner of the container. The ground was soft, so I had my work cut out for me. oh, it took about 5 different attempts to reach my desired height. it kept tipping, because the ground was so soft. i actually moved it 5 inches to one side before perfecting my technique to go straight up. I moved the jack to the front corner instead of the side and that did the trick.

This thing lifts my 2500 avalanche like nothing . I am very happy with this purchase !

Very good jack for the price. The drawback with these economy jacks is that the rod is not chromed so you have to keep it out of the weather. I carry these on my service truck to jack up a loaded trailer.
