so flimsy it just broke apart in the first hour. useless product.

It is unique in that it works for a/c air and for heat. I also love that it was versatile both in size adjustment and in ways to mount it. The magnetic mounting works great and is strong. It allows you to mount vertically (for double high vents) or horizontally to direct to air either up, down, left or right. You can also choose to mount it with the screws from the vent with ability to adjust the deflector up or down. The price is right and it is delivered quickly.

Good for my application. Used it to divert incoming airflow from my air exchange system.

Works great. Nice size. Not super robust, but definitely not thin and flimsy. Adjustable lenght. I prevents curtain ends from blocking vents.

This is exactly what it is, nothing more, no frills. It does its job as expected. Initially, the plastic seems to be high density (more fragile), but I have had these drop from the 8 foot ceiling height of the vent and not crack – not even the small guidance channels along the edges which allow it to expand or contract to the vent size of your choice (YMMV). That said, it fell by being knocked off accidentally – the magnets are strong enough to hold it in place on a ceiling vent, but not too strong to easily reposition or remove.

Used in a commercial setting to deflect air away from an employee's eyes. This was used on a 2' x 2' ceiling air / duct diffuser. The employee is very happy, and the installer is very happy with the ease that the adjustable size and magnets for attachment. My guess is that the deflector will outlast the employee.
