The World According to Michael: An Old Soul's Guide to the Universe (A Michael Book) Paperback – January 1, 1992

My husband and I love the clear structure of this book. It adds a level of clarity that helps the reader understand the different ways of thinking by different folks around the world. It isn't dogmatic. I am not particularly oriented to the names of famous people so those examples weren't of particular interest to me; however, they may well be for others. I teach pretty advanced energy work and this is one of the books I recommend students purchase. It's just that helpful!

I read this book quite some time ago, yet I still think of it or reference it when speaking to others when I want to make a particular point. I found it to be a great read with information that is very relevant to today regarding the the current state of international relations. Use of the Michael system in thinking about other countries and cultures gives one a way to understand why another nation may behave in ways one might find very troublesome - and provide a way to understand why one can't just provide democracy or other cultural ways on another group of people. I loved the book. I've given away multiple copies. Buy it! Read it! Think about it!

This Michael Book is channeled by a different medium than the first several Michael books I have read. While the style is lighter and breezier, it does impart an in-depth understanding as to how our souls develop and function during each level, and how this affects our interaction(s) in different areas of our world. A study of the Michael books gives outstanding info to understanding others in our families and work habitats. A "must" for those who truly wish to understand how our plane works and our souls develop.

Well written, and similar to Esther Hicks, Abraham.. Delivered on time, well packaged, just as described.

This is an excellent book especially if you have been on one of the courses Joya Pope has held in the past. My experience with her was fantastic and I first bought the book directly from her in 1996. That edition has since been lost and I consequently bought a replacement. I have a print out of what type of soul I am together with all the imprintint etc., and I often like to refer to the book when telling others of their soul age. I wouldn't be without it.Jennifer

She uses celebrities extensively as examples of what she's explaining. There is a brief explanation of a concept followed by paragraphs of celebrities who fit. If you took out all of the celebrity references, this book would be about 30 pages long. If you aren't familiar with the major aspects of the personalities of movie stars and politicians, it's more confusing than helpful.

I have always resonated with the Michael Teachings as an engaging, yet clear approach to understanding the journey of the soul and how we live our day to day lives. I appreciate the easy to digest information in this book on everything from soul ages to roles and other personality features. I also quite enjoy the celebrity examples so amply provided. A clear and interesting book.
