Great way to enjoy fitness while protecting your joints
I absolutely love my Kangaroo Jump boots! I use them to do Zumba and run, they definitely increased my work-out to a higher level. The boots are so much fun to workout in, increasing your heartrate and the intensity of the workout because of the weight of each boot.I have received many comments from people when they see me in the boots, each time, I recommend they buy a pair to bring their workout to the next level of intensity.Within two weeks, I noticed a difference in my core, it was getting stronger with each use. There is also a difference in my lower body muscles, they too have become stronger.I was a figure skater when I was younger, I immediately was able to support myself on the boots, centering my weight over the center of my foot. You need to keep your posture, with shoulders over your hips while not leaning forward or backwards.I would think, if you have skied, ice skated, used hockey skates, or used in-line skates, you would also have an easy time with the boots. If you have never done any of the above, it may take a little bit to get used to.I am 57 years old, I am able to do an hour of Zumba and take a 3.5 mile run later in the day with no joint pain the next day.I purchased the boots because through-out my life, I have given my joints quite the workout with figure skating and running. I wanted to ensure moving forward, I was protecting my joints.I recommend buying the insurance, I failed to do this. My reason for recommending buying the insurance is, the pin on the right buckle keeps popping out. I can put the pin back in, but this needs to be designed better. My ankles are skinny, when I tighten the buckle tight, the pin pops out. To reduce this from happening and to make sure I feel like the boots are tight enough, I put cosmetic sponges in my sock to increase the width of my ankle. This helped. You will also want to ensure the screws that attach the boots to the body of the boot are tightened after each workout. This will ensure, you are safe to use them the next time.If you run outside with the boots, you will go through the rubber soles faster than if you only use them indoors.I have had mine for 1.5 months and will be buying a new pair of soles because I used them outside. When you get the boots, they may appear stiff, you have the option to cut the center t-straps to provide you with more bounce but the more you use the boots, they loosen up.I chose not to remove one of the straps and I am glad I did.If you are looking to increase your work out to the next level, or just want to protect your joints, I highly recommending buying a pair.Enjoy and I hope my review helped.

So Far So Good
I was like a kid on Christmas morning. As soon as they were delivered, box opened, and I strapped them on my feet (once I figured out how to do so). First time standing up with them on, is hard, but kinda funny. Learning to stand/walk even funnier, but once I used the furniture around me to get to the doorway I was good to go....welllll So then with the help of the doorway I start dabbling with bouncing and needless to say right shoes bottom popped off...nothing was injured or broken on me nor the shoes, just keep in mind that this can happen and its gonna take a lot of strenght (in my case 2 people) to get it back together. I didnt let it stop me, I got right back up and started again. Right now Im dealing with no air conditioner in my house, hopefully that will be fixed in a couple days, so I can really work on learning to exist as one with the shoes and really workout.

So much FUN!
I'll just be honest and say that I hate exercise. I never found a gym or a class that I could stick to long enough to make a difference. And, I'm addicted to donuts and pizza, so there is that. Anyway, these boots are so much fun that I am getting off the couch and bouncing around the house while I fold laundry and load the dishwasher. I might actually lose some weight! Fun!!!!

Super easy and fun !
I watched a video of a group of women working out with these and they looked like lots of fun.I ordered these that day and I'm so glad I did !*I am a 51 year old woman and I had no problem standing up in these. I was very careful when I first put them on and held on to my kitchen island. After one time around I took off bouncing ! Extremely sturdy and easy to balance. Great exercise and low/easy impact. 10/10 would recommend.

Good shoes not worth the price.
I liked the boots. I can balance (cuz I play a lot of Wii) but the price no Bueno. Too much for this item. Especially cuz you have to replace certain parts of boots often. But great fun if you can afford them.

Nooooooooo
Unless you weigh 160 pounds or more, forget it. My 122 pound daughter tried these and they didn’t even flex, basically walking on 8 inch stilts. USELESS.

Seem Good
My initial reaction is that these are great! They arrived quickly and in great condition. They came fully assembled. It was easy to get them on and get started and they fit comfortably. They did not come with any additional bands; but that's reflected in the lower price. These boots are fun. I'm hoping they will stand the test of time.
