First time using this pro version. The regular old version just don’t work fast. Pro is way to go. Worth every penny. White dog like magnet for fleas. No more issues scratching after exposure . Very pleased

I have used the basic frontline for years on our shepherd as she is allergic to other brands (mouth/lip/throat swelling!) and was a bit worried that changing from the Frontline Plus version would risk a reaction. Fortunately that was not the case, and she has tolerated this well. We take lots of walks in the woods and she is well protected against ticks. When our cat had fleas, she was never bothered. Downside is this product does not protect/repel against other pests, but if you have a sensitive dog this has been a safe choice for the essentials.

I was noticing fleas on my pups about a couple of weeks before it was time to reapply. Just think either a bad batch or this Gold isn't up to par with the reg Frontline. Needless to say I will be saving a little and going back to the regular formula next time.

Frontline Gold is good and my dog tolerates it. Regular Frontline Plus use to seem to burn my dog’s skin.

On 2nd treatment and dog still has fleas

This has been a bad year for ticks. I live in a heavily wooded rural area. Frontline gold is far more effective than any other product I have used. If I find a tick sitting on their coat it is dead and not attached. As a comparison, My husband and I have had over 100 tick bites since March. It is now June.
