I had purchased the older model of the Rear Console. The Velcro stickers were separate and had to be attached prior to install. The Velcro sticky came off after a few months. I reached out to Basenor and they sent me the upgraded model of this at no extra cost. The new model has the velcro stickers pre-attached to the bin so they seem more sturdy. I guess they may have used different kind of glue or used better method to attach it firmly. I installed it in my car and its staying in place and hasn't moved yet. Thanks Basenor for excellent customer service.

Bought this a trash can for our Tesla and it works great if you are sitting in the back seat. It fits well and look great. However, it is not as easy to use from the front. The lid does come off easily and you have to reach to the back to throw your trash. Just something to consider when ordering.

While this product is sized so that sits unobtrusively behind the center console, my main problem with it is that it won't adhere to the center console if you're using a floor mat that has a raised lip in the back row. The product comes with velcro tape to adhere to the back of the center console, but a floor mat with a raised lip will prevent the container from being flush with the center console.

The “3M-like” adhesive they use to secure it might as well be a Post-it Note because it gives up faster than I do at the gym. Half the time, the Velcro ends up clinging to my Tesla’s carpet like it’s found its new best friend.The size? Sure, it fits. But the lid? Oh, the lid has dreams of freedom—it falls off more often than a bad toupee in a windstorm.In theory, it’s a convenient little bin, but in reality, it’s more of a mobile nuisance. Do yourself a favor and shop around for a bin that doesn’t come with separation anxiety.Hope this brings a smile while still delivering your honest feedback!
