Solved problem with fridge not cooling. Freezer was OK. Great price.
I have a 2015 Samsung 2-door refrigerator/freezer model RS25H5111SR/AA. The freezer worked fine, but the refrigerator portion would no longer cool. After looking online, it seemed that the problem could be the evaporator fan motor. I had to remove all the shelves and drawers to get access to the rather large, white, plastic panel in the back of the refrigerator compartment. The fan is on the backside of this panel. You do not have to deal with anything on the outside back of the appliance. Yahoo. Disconnect the power cord. Six Phillips head screws must be removed to remove the white, plastic, panel to get to the fan. Two wiring harness clips must be disconnected (left side of panel) to completely remove the white, plastic panel that has the fan on the back side of it. An additional 1 Phillips head screw must be removed to open the black plastic case that holds the fan motor. Four more Phillips head screws must be removed to remove the fan mounting plate from the white, plastic panel so that the fan blade can be removed from the shaft of the fan motor. I just pulled the fan blade straight off the motor shaft with my hands. Be careful not to break it. It is white plastic. The motor has a a small electrical connector that must be undone to remove the fan motor. All of steps that I have described can be found in multiple videos on YouTube. A video is worth 10,000 words. Interestingly, if you plug the appliance in, after the panel and fan have been disconnected and removed, the refrigeration coil in the back of the refrigerator compartment will work. It will frost up. This helps in troubleshooting. I was very pleased to see the coil getting cold. That made me believe that the fan motor was the problem and not a refrigerant leak, etc.. I put everything back together and the refrigerator compartment is working fine. Before ordering this part from Amazon, I checked with a local appliance parts place. They did not have it in stock and they wanted almost 3 times what I got it for on Amazon. PLEASE NOTE: in one of the videos on YT, a guy checks his fan motor by plugging it into a wall outlet!! Even though he is working on a similar looking Samsung appliance and the motor looks to be the same, his fan motor is rated for 120 Volts AC. The fan motor in my Samsung RS25H5111SR/AA is 12 Volts DC. If you did what he did to this fan, you will destroy it for sure. This is a low voltage DC fan. One last item. Inside the black plastic fan motor case and on top of the motor is a flexible rubber/plastic "gasket". Take this off your old fan motor and put it on your new one, as you do not get a new "gasket" with the new motor. I highly recommend this fan motor.

Inexpensive Way to Fix Common Fridge Issue
My fridge started getting warm over time. After googling I realized that samsung fridges had cooling issues and it was most likely the fan. Unfortunately, everything has to be removed and the back panel in the fridge pulled out to replace the fan, but it was really easy to replace and the fan works perfectly. It looks exactly like the fan I pulled out of the fridge. I had it for a few months now and no issues with the fridge. I was able to fix my fridge for a great price with the factory issued part.

Was exactly what I needed, at a price I could afford.
Liked that I was able to repair my Samsung Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor at a very sensible price in a reasonable amount of time. Just used a house fan until my part came in. Worked great! Low cost, speedy delivery.

Perfect fit
This motor fit perfectly, but unfortunately I still had to replace the fridge due to other problems with it.

Looks like Factory
Part looks comparable to the original part. Fit perfectly but the connection for "thermal" monitor was different but works well so far.

Very Low Quality - Part Life Too Short
I bought this freezer fan motor for my refrigerator on May 15. It just working for a few month then died out on Sep 01. This part is very low quality and it was just last long for 3.5 months.

Made the fix of our fridge easy
Perfect part, reasonably priced, fit our fridge and seems to have solved the fan-icing problem. What's not to like? ;)
