Very good product and was very easy to install, setup app and online, night vision works very well and provides good security for a home, video recording and durability is very good, I used sd cards froma old camera i had, formated and worked great.

I was looking for a good quality security camera at a moderate price. This particular style fits my needs. It's very similar in quality and features to my other Dekco cameras (DC5L hard wired, and a DC9L solar powered). Resolution and zoom capabilities are equal and satisfactory for my needs. Easy to sync up to my Wi-Fi and easy to set up with the Dekco app. I opted to use 128 GB micro SD cards vs. the cloud service offered by Dekco. Setup instructions are adequate, however, it was noted that up to 512 GB micro SD cards can be used. But when I spoke with tech support she stated that the camera manufacturer recommends the maximum size should be a 128 GB card to avoid any glitches.

I bought these cameras on August 23rd. This morning about 45 days after I purchased the cameras, both USB power supplies failed within 40 minutes of each other. The cameras will not turn on. However, when I took one of my own personal USB electrical adapter power supplies (not either of the Dekco USB power units which had failed), I was able to successfully power on both cameras. I tried phoning DEKCO's customer service number to inform them of the defective parts. The phone number just rang and rang. DEKCO customer service never answered, nor could I connect to voice mail to leave a message. Update on September 27th: Although I was not able to leave a message with DEKCO Customer Support, they did call me back based upon my phone number attempted call. They quickly replaced both USB power adapters at no charge to me. The cameras were work well ... if anything almost too well in terms of motion sensitivity. Even at the lowest level for motion, they are often activated at night by falling rain, moths, or leaves. However, the price for this system is very fair, and I would purchase again. It has been fun to watch my bear family (mom and 3 cubs) visit my yard.

Hace casi 1 año compré estas cámaras. Una de ellas algunas veces se apagaba, y no encendía asta que la desconectaba y conectaba otra vez, no le di mucha importancia. Pero hace ya como 1 mes que no funciona. Simplemente no volví a encender. Les compre aseguranza y me comunique con ellos, pero dijeron aun tiene garantía del fabricante. Y pues nada mas se hacen los locos y no me dan una solución, pésimo servicio.

Update 3/6/2025 I reached out to support and they were EXCELLENT!! WOW. Got my issue cleared up and good to go. Rating updated from 3 to 5 stars! 1st Eating Was 3 Stars/Review Below Def a step above many imo, including WZYE. Clear, movement is good and mic is incredible!! Glad I bought a 4 pack. I got sick so I couldn't put them up right away..bought these in Nov 24, 2024. Put these up last month... Again..app is easy, configuration is easy. Problem, because they are motorized, one already stopped full range of motion and that a bad thing. That didn't last long. This is the only reason why it gets 3 stars. Records video precisely, mine connected to my network fast and I used it on 5G with little issues. Sometimes they disconnect, but mostly just ask to switch the vid quality. Once in a while I will, but it runs great all day. I don't know if the tracks/teeth on the ptz are bad etc, but not being able to have full mobility in such a short time is aweful and it wiggles on the base a little. It didn't when Ist bought it. Doing it now. I'll let Would I buy again? Most likely yes. As the software gets better and it adds a few more features, it would be a big deal. It has parametric view it can capture if you set it up. Resolution - A+, motion capture is B+ (a little slow processing what it records) but is decent camera. I don't know how long this one will last, but we'll see

Bought 4 of them nearly two years ago. They are still running strong. I dislike that if you change the password for your home internet you would have to take down all the cameras and reset and reconnect back. The cameras are extremely difficult to watch live and recorded streams on the app even though I have 200Mb broadband speed. Many times the display would keep spinning around trying to connect to the server until it gives up. The image quality is okay. Installation is not that hard. Just bring all cameras near your router and connect to your internet using the app on your phone. Then take them and install around your residence. The value for money is good. The cameras look well made and durable. The customer service is very good. If it could only connect to the app quickly as other manufacturer's cameras that I have it would have been so good. Now concerning night vision all my cameras, from three different companies, are more or less the same- if the subject comes 15-20 feet it would be probably be possible to make an identification but further and the subject gets a little difficult to make out. Day time pics are good. I don't think I would buy again just because of the difficulty in connecting to their server to see the live and recorded streams on their app. Really that app needs to be reworked on and updated.

This is an excellent camera, from a fantastic company. I purchased this camera while it was on sale, and after some underwhelming experiences with other cameras around this price-point, I wasn't sure if this one would be good. But it is an excellent camera, with great picture quality! The 2k resolution provides a nice improvement over a 1080p camera. Good things about the camera: - Good night vision/IR - Pan function - Intercom (microphone and speaker) function through the app - CloudEdge app works well - MicroSD card slot for recording, not forced to pay for a cloud service. - DC Barrel power plug (more durable than USB, and easier to extend over long distances) One of the best features is that this camera supports ONVIF/RTSP. You just have to enable it using the app, and then you can connect the camera to a standard NVR or other software that supports ONVIF. I'm using it with Synology Surveillance Station and it's working great. When I first bought the camera, the panning control didn't work from Surveillance Station/using ONVIF. I emailed Dekco and they replied to me and had a firmware update ready in less than 24 hours! After installing the firmware update with the app and reconnecting the camera, the panning control worked. Their customer support is AMAZING! Since purchasing this camera, I've bought 3 more Dekco cameras (a 2K Pan/Tilt DC5E, and two 5MP Pan/Tilt DC5P). I've been equally (or more) impressed with these other cameras and can definitely recommend any of these models (DC4L, DC5E, DC5P) or likely any other camera from Dekco. If you can afford the extra money, I would suggest either pan/tilt models (DC5P/DC5E) - it's a little more versatile having the ability to pan left/right and tilt up/down, instead of just panning. But you can't go wrong with the DC4L if you don't need the tilt feature.

After years of struggling with blink we decided to buy the 4 pack of Dekco cameras, this was the best decision! They are fantastic! Way more options for storage and viewing and you can live view side to side! Really good range and images are very clear. One down side...snow, if it is snowing you have to turn them off or you will get over 500 videos while you sleep, and who has time to process all that. I've put sensitivity down as low as possible to no avail. But they are really good cameras and I highly recommend them, especially if you are suffering in blink land...

Absolutely useless. No manual in the box. Had to go online for manual, but following instructions on the downloaded app it would not recognize the QR code on device. Useless. Set up manually as per app instructions, but again the device could not connect to wifi and app could not find the device. Nothing but frustration. Useless. Waste of money. Buy an alarm for your door, buy a dog, an angry kitten would be better protection than this.
