UPDATE: AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am so impressed with the speed of resolution of this problem. A new unit is already on it's way to me and I'm positive it will resolve the problem. Up until this issue, this motion sensor light worked perfectly. I loved the wide range and long distance it provided for lighting and it worked great with my security cameras to improve the video quality for night time clips. The additional light made it possible to get good video with details of anyone approaching or near my parked cars in the driveway - exactly what I needed as a deterrent to would be car thieves.URGENT NOTE TO SELLER: I bought this motion sensor at the end of January and paid an electrician to run wire and mount this on my garage so I would have sufficient lighting for safety and security purposes. As of early July, this light has stopped working properly. The motion sensor only goes off when I wave my hand within 6 inches, yes, 6 INCHES of the sensor. This item has a 5 year warranty and I need to get it either repaired or replaced. Please contact me as soon as possible. I am also contacting Amazon to let them know of my situation. I hope you will remedy this matter as quickly as possible.

Color is dark Architectural Brown (which I prefer), not "Charcoal". Easy to install with just a phillips head screwdriver ... ALL stainless screws & 3 good quality wire nuts included :o) Lights are plenty bright ... roughly equal to 90 Watt floodlights I replaced it with.Easy set-up and works fine. Has a photocell so it will not activate in daylight. Has a "test" position to test position/range of motion sensor in daylight. This switch can then be moved to 1,5, or 10 minute Lights ON position. Also has a "range" knob to set distance/sensitivity of motion sensor. For continuous Lights ON, flip switch or breaker quickly off/on (it will goes off at dawn & reset itself to security mode). Aiming of lights is tool free because there are plastic wing nuts on the aiming fittings. This fixture is made to mount on a round electrical box and comes with a polyethylene foam gasket that fits perfectly. This unit may be slightly more expensive than some others but you are getting a quality product. I would buy this same unit again if the need arises.

Terrible. Do not waste your money like i did. Bought them 2 months ago. Handyman did not come until now when i cannot return the product any longer..Sensor is too sensitive, it activates itself every 15 seconds. I monitored it through my nest cam.. all night long the freaking light was on and off. Tried for 2 weeks different positions. Until tonight when i cut the cable of the sensor to disconnect this thing.. be smarters than me. Trast the other reviews...

I am annoyed that I spent money having an electrician install this, and it doesn't work as intended.I can easily sneak by this motion sensor by moving slowly. When I mentioned this to the seller, they said that it is designed to not be so sensitive that it will pick up small animals. Yes I agree with that, however, I am a 175lb man, I feel like it should be able to pick up the slightest movement I make. But I find myself waving my arms above my head and then it finally registers me.It's sort of not working as intended in several ways I find are key: distance required too short, sensitivity too low.Now I'll have to spend another fifty or so bucks getting an electrician to install a RAB which I will replace this with. I couldve just went with the RAB Led lighting for a hundred bucks more and be done with it.

Received the light today, one of the LED floods does nothing but flash, the other works fine. I didn't get much of a chance to test it out since I'm returning it. The only other feedback I have is that the hoods twist around and there is no way to keep them in place. I probably would have taped them in place or added a dab of silicon so the hoods don't move. Not something I expect to do with a new light. Otherwise, the unit looks good, the lights are bright even in sunlight and the sensor seemed to work even though it was pointing at the ground while I was getting it installed.

Ordered on April 13, 2017. Had it installed by a professional electrician. Loved it until the weather dropped to 15 degrees and it came on but wouldn't turn off. I contacted the seller and who informed me that the unit had been installed upside down. They kindly sent me a new light anyway and the electricians reinstalled it. According to the electrician my problem was that it replaced an old security light that was installed on the underside of the eave instead of on the vertical wall. The "upside down" installation worked perfectly until didn't. The new "proper" installation has been a challenge but I made it work by propping the sensor with a large piece of foam so it would look out instead of down. Still needs more adjusting but it is getting there!

The first one I ordered had a problem with the sensor. Always came on and then stayed on. However, after contacting the company I bought it from, they were very helpful and in the end sent me a new light. Since then, we have not had any problems with it. Love the look and has a very bright led light.

The product mounts to a round gang box. There are gaskets included to make a waterproof seal. I had trouble with the light staying on all the time. I turned down the sensitivity settings for ambient light and duration of light being on. This cured the issue. Very bright lights with a nice white color. Easy three wire installation: hot, neutral, ground.
