Crown Books for Young Readers Draw Your Day Kids!: How to Sketch and Paint Your Amazing Life

THis and Samantha's other book have kept me sane and, with another well-known colouring book Author, have provided me and, incredibly, my mum some structure to her days - and sometimes nights when she doesn't know which is which. There is a great deal of paper in the back for practise and this does throw Mum a curveball and I have had a thousand conversations about the book having 'nothing in it' Bless Her :) But seeing her with an interest and her own daily art practise again is wonderful. I have the other adult books but this one is just slightly laid out differently and with a little more obvious explanation to the beginer and I see Mum looks through this one every day. Highly recommended for the artistic elder who can no longer spin and weave etc but who can still hold a pen - of course now she has a colour pencil addiction :)

I bought this book for a friend’s child to encourage her artistic expression. I read this before passing it along as a gift and enjoyed the creative encouragement, the instruction that is given in such a way that is easily understandable and manageable, and the clever art/journal prompts the author provides. This book is for ALL levels and offers insight into core art lessons/fundamentals in a language that is fun and achievable for children and adults. In addition, this book gives kids (and adults) an important outlet for expression (journaling) and is an excellent tool for learning artistic techniques that could otherwise feel intimidating - it makes art approachable and enjoyable for everyone. I ended up buying 6 more books for friends and their family members.

Bello, ben fatto - ma non per me. Comunque merita che siano cinque stelle! Dopotutto fa quello che dice il titolo. Ho scelto i suoi altri tre libri (disegna la tua giornata, il tuo mondo e il diario). Questo è carino ma sicuramente pensato per ragazze e non aggiunge nulla se hai gli altri.
