If you don't have a lot of room in your electrical boxes, this is the switch for you. My 1960s house has metal boxes everywhere and this is the only switch I could find that didn't have a rat's nest of wires coming out of it that required multiple wire nuts in a small space. AND it fits in the metal boxes 2.8" height with room to spare, something other manufacturers didn't even consider (I tried them -- don't fit!). Set up with Smart Life and Alexa was painless, too, and now when I forget to turn off the garage lights at night, or have my hands full, Alexa will switch it for me. Another bonus is that it works fine with a 4-way switch in between itself and standard 3-way switch.

I purchased this to replace a switch that frequently lost connection to my Wi-Fi. This has been working great for months with no problem, even when I was on generator power for four days after hurricane beryl.

I very like that "off" state and "on" state is separate buttons on this switch, as all other smart switches on market always use only one button for this to toggle "on" and "off" states which is not always convenient.But the main problem is in SW of this switch - by some reason there are very big delay, like about 1 to 2 seconds, after i press any button! So i press a "off" button and light turns off only after 1 to 2 seconds! Very inconvenient and unexpected!I hope manufacturer can fix this issue in OTA SW update as it is complete deal breaker for me! I had and idea to replace all my smart switches, but this issues stops me from doing this, unfortunately! No any other my smart switches has this problem!

Addendum: one or more devices are added last in the scene creation section. You just have to add a WiFi switches separately from outdoor waterproof WiFi plugs. The software doesn't group them together.. yet. They are working on it. The WiFi switch works outdoors inside a water proof box.Software seems to be missing ability to group with their outdoor plugs. Cloud Scene seems to not function also. I created an If/ then scenario and when I hit save it asked for a device without any further input offered. I cant believe I have to go over to Treatlife to get this done.

All of the purchases I’ve made with this product, including their outdoor Wi-Fi plugs have been excellent. They have a good range on Wi-Fi are durable and relatively easy to install. It’s the only kind I am buying at this point.

I have installed many smart switches. There always is a glitch when setting up the switch to use with wifi, SmartThings or Google. This switch couldn't be easier to setup. Took less than a minute and works great. Will buy again.

I’m outfitting my new house with smart everything. I got this switch as it works with the stock 2nd switch for a 3 way light. It works like a charm and was quick to add to Smart Life. I liked it so much I got 2 more for other parts of the house. Quick install, reasonable size, and works as described.

If you have tried installing smart switches to your home in order to make your existing lights smart, then you probably ignored that 3-way switch in your kitchen (or, if you're like me, just ghetto-rigged it with a regular switch and covered up the other switch so no one kills power to the light).Well, don't fret. This is the device you need. And you don't need to install it on BOTH of your 3-way switches to make the light smart. This one switch will replace one of your 3-way switches AND allow you to turn the light on/off via manual operation, voice command (google or siri), or via your phone (SmartHome app).I love everything about this switch. it's not a "toggle" switch like your typical 'dumb' rocker switches. With your 'dumb' rocker switch, when you press the top or bottom rocker, the switch "rocks" into the position that you last pressed. In other words, if you press the top button, it remains "rocked' in the up position until you flip the rocker into the 'down' position. The rocker is always either "up" or "down".The way this switch works, the top and bottom paddles are actually "buttons", so if you press the top one, the light turns on, but the rocker stays in the "middle" position. If you press the bottom one, the light turns off and the rocker still stays in the "middle" position.Unlike your typical dumb 3-way switches, manually flipping the other end will NOT change the effect of the top/bottom buttons of this smart switch. Top will button always be "ON" and bottom button will always be "OFF", no matter the position of the other switch, and no matter if you used the app to turn the light on or off.As a result, you get an in-wall switch that looks exactly like all the others in your home (assuming you have rocker switches) and operates seamlessly, regardless of tech savvy.
