Red Lantern 6 ft. Tall Closed Mesh Design Room Divider

I like this screen a lot, after two years and considering it something I would keep and use temporarily, I still have it. What is very unique about it is the small detail that the manufacturer has put in to make it look "antique". After you purchase it you open it to see that even the holes of the screen are painted in such a way that makes it look perfectly and legitimately worn. It is a good peice that has been knocked over by my own fault and has not broken - so, it has got some resistance.note - it did smell kind of funky when it first arrived. I didnt really care too much - the smell faded in a bout a week (AFTER making my house smell weird for a few days- perhaps not an item to have delivered the day before hosting)

I needed the screen for a doorway to a small room. The screen was well packaged, arrived early, and is absolutely gorgeous. Most things in the house are white and I bought it because in the picture it looks almost white. I'm glad I did and I would never return it but it is more the color of natural driftwood with white wash showing in different areas at different intensity. It is very sturdy and it makes the small space look stunning. It has a well aged look and feel. It had a little bit of cedar like smell but it diminished over a week or so and was not bothersome though I have many allergies, just something to note. It also makes for a good flow of air, even when closed because of the open lattice section. Would highly recommend!

I received this much anticipated Room Divider in a box that looked like it had been thrown from the truck. The taping seal was missing, corners had been caved in, and the foams protecting the divider were broken. 6 of the 12 hinges were broken and pulled right out of the wood altogether on 3 of them. 3 of the 6 damaged pulled hinges were missing altogether including the screws which probably fell out of the broken box. Very disappointing, and could not return as the original box was too damaged, and could not get another one that would fit the divider. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, IT IS A DUD AND A WASTE OF $390.00

I like this decorative screen, and it was $200 something dollars, which is pretty inexpensive considering the alternative. It is a good match for my bedroom and bathroom. I put it up when I need more privacy because there is no door from my bedroom to my bathroom. It is a little clunky to move around. It wasn't completely level, but I put some furniture felt covers on the bottom stands - two thick ones on either end because they were a little shorter than the middle stands, and thinner felt covers on the inner stands. Now it is level. I also put thin pads on the edge at the top of the screen where I lean it against the wall when I am not using it, so now it doesn't scratch the wall. Note: it doesn't stand up on it's own when it is folded up, but it does when it's unfolded. It looks pretty scratched up, or "antiqued" intentionally. In some places it doesn't have much stain on, and also it's not smooth wood, like I feel that it might give me a sliver if I'm not careful. But for now, it works ok for my purposes.

This item is pretty and sturdy like expected. However, it’s a bit shorter than I expected. Overall a good choice of purchase.

We love this beautiful screen. It is tastefully elegant with subtle painted details. It arrived in great shape, and it is a wonderful addition to our living room.

I was really looking forward to receiving this room divider, but unfortunately it not only came damaged but was poorly made. The sides of the panels were separated, leg was broken and the hinges were missing screws. So disappointed. Returned item and don't want replacement of this product.

I do like the screen, but there are a few issues.1. It looks grey in the photo, and it isn't. It is a medium-dark brown with a grey wash on it, but it is much darker and more brown than in the photo2. A more serious issue is the hinges, they don't swing in both directions, only one. I wanted the screen to fold like this /\_ but it would only fold like this _/\. I had to take the hinges off, and re-drill and re-install to fold the screen in the direction that I needed it. It's possible that the thought was that you could just reverse the screen, however the scrolled detail at the top is not on both sides, so if you want to see that detailing you will need to have that side facing out. I have the screen against a wall as a decorative detail, rather than using it as a room divider, so your mileage may very.Over-all however, I do like the screen - though I may wind up painting and glazing it at some point to make it the weathered grey that I was actually looking for
