Hello, first you need to remove the smoothie cup to expose the blade tray, and then use a wrench to adjust the distance the blade extends from the tray. The greater the distance the blade extends from the tray, the larger the shaved ice particles produced. The smaller the distance the blade extends from the tray, the smaller the shaved ice particles produced.

Q: Can i use ice from ice cube tray?

Yes, I have done this. This unit is a professional unit; if you're running a small luncheonette or something similar and need a lot of crushed ice, this unit is great. Note that there will be melted ice on the counter top so you will need some sort of water resistant counter.

Q: is it suitable for 220v?

I’m not sure but I plug it into my regular kitchen outlet. Works fantastically!!! Love it!
