Best I've tried
There isn't too much not to like about this headset. I have tried 3 others so far (the VR Box, and a DESTEK). Overall I think this is the best one I have tried. The viewing angle makes for a very immersive experience; the straps are comfortable enough; and, very importantly, the headset feels much less front heavy compared to the other headsets. My only complaint is that the button does not work with my phone. This was disappointing but considering the other headsets I tried didn't even have a button it was a minor thing. Also, this problem can be circumvented with a Bluetooth remote. I would give this a 1/2 point deduction if I could. If you are considering buying this headset I would make sure your phone has a high resolution as the high viewing angle could make the image look pixelated (like an old fashioned low resolution tv/projector) . I use an LG G3 with a 1440 x 2560 screen and it looks great (no pixels). I would imagine a 1920 x 1080 screen would work as well.

Does the job for the Samsung S7 Edge
It works and does the job. I use if for the Samsung S7 edge.It adjusts nicely and the lenses adjust for both eye spacing and focus.A basic system with good optics.Nothing fancy, but does the job.The buttons do interface with the S7. Not as nice as the Samsung but the benefit is you can watch GOOGLE videos

Almost 5 stars, with only a few minor annoyances.
I would give 5 stars but there are 2 very minor issues. The nose bridge support could be made more comfortable, and the capacitive touch button could function better. Other than that, great FOV and comfortable on my big noggin, with good adjust-ability for focus and eye set.4.5 Overall!

Use with well-made apps
There are so many generic VR headsets out there and this one is just right for first-timers who want to try out the experience without shelling out too much. Naturally, the VR experience depends on the kind of app you use. I found out that the better made the app, the better immersive experience it was. Operation is simple, just be sure to scan the Q code that came with it. It's field of view was not a problem and I did not experience seeing the side borders but keep in mind we might have different pupillary distance. The headset itself does not feel cheaply made and the trigger button at the bottom works with my S7 Edge. I also like how my phone fits without the need to remove my spigen case. Of course, your experience might be different if you're using a thicker phone case. It does not feel heavy while using it to a point where you'll stop. Stopping first coz of nausea (due to the use of app) might be the case rather than stopping because of the weight. When considering your headset, look at the foam used for the face mask. Others may have an ordinary foam which may be alright with you but for me, I like how this uses a different foam - a faux leather type that is also perforated. Now, why not 5 stars you may ask? Just like other generic ones, I feel like it could use better lenses. But then again, being an entry-level and considering the price point, there's really nothing to complain about.

Optics Good, Button Doesn't Work
Haven't tried any other VR headsets, so don't have anything to compare these to, but the lenses seem to be good quality and the fit is good. Field of view isn't quite wide enough (black sections on left and right sides), but this probably has more to do with iPhone 6 screen size than the headset. Only fault is with the "OK" button used to navigate the menus. It never worked well, and doesn't consistently touch the screen when pressing the button. Probably best to use a bluetooth controller, although this would take away from the value of this headset.----Upon further investigation, I don't believe that the button for screen touch is compatible with capacitive touch screens like the iPhone. Needs a conductive button like Google Cardboard viewer has. Moving rating down to a 3.

Good value but the button does not register on iphone
Good value but the button does not register on iphone. Just another note that the two knobs on the side are not independent. If one eye needs more or less adjustment, there is nothing you can do.

Check your phone first
Make sure you have a perfect gyroscope or it's useless and will make you sick, literally. So make sure your phone has a good gyroscope.

I was looking for a better way to experience Google Cardboard so I picked up this headset from tons of recommendations from around the internet. Pulling this headset out of the box I could tell right away that it was very well made. The plastic is strong and painted well, no rough edges and the straps are very easy to adjust. The lenses came protected with a plastic film and arrived scratch free. This set seems to work best with phones 5.5 inches to 6.0 inches. I'm using it with the Nexus 6P and it fits perfectly. The distance from your phone to the lenses is adjustable as is the distance between the lenses themselves. The field of view is great, and immersive! However, the clarity depends more on the quality of the videos and games you are playing more so than these lenses but the lenses are nice and clear as well. The visor where you put your phone in has side vents in order to let heat escape as well as having access to connect your headphones and charger if you want. The padding is comfortable, breathable and is made from faux leather. (artificial leather) with no funky smells or odors. This headset is Cardboard ready and includes a button underneath that touches your phone display inside the phone cradle in order to register touches with in the game or videos you are playing and works very well. (doesn't work with iPhone) Over all I would highly recommend this headset to anyone, and it is a great way to upgrade from a stock Cardboard, or as a first VR headset to jump into mobile VR in a comfortable way.
