These replaced some factory originals in a Leer pickup truck shell, so they were matched exactly. Install was not hard (thank you, YouTube) and they have been in place for at least a year and a half now and seen plenty of use in daily chores, errands and frequent travel and camping. FWIW I do not own a garage so these are exposed to Northern California weather at 2,000 feet of elevation at all times. That's a lot of 105F in the shade, cold enough to snow and a lot of light and UV exposure.

I own a 2012 Chevy Silverado with a cab high ARE topper. The original gas shocks were weak and would not hold the glass window up safely. I ordered these as the number on the old shocks indicated this is the correct size. They came very quickly and they mounted very easily. What a difference. The Topper window now holds itself up is actually take force to shut it. if any complaint, I think they’re almost too strong, but since they were the exact replacement, I’ll work with them. I would recommend these. Very happy with the price, shipping, quality of the product.

Exact replacement for my ARE cap. Replacing the shocks on my cap rear door after 6 years fixed the sagging window which would come down into my face in the slightest wind. Strong enough to hold up my hi rise rear window.

These are good replacement units. I didn't realize just how weak my 12 year-old original struts had become until I put these in. Just remember to double check your length and lbs of pressure per strut.
