This held well in beach sand with a 65 lb. dog.

Works for my 56lb German Shepard Husky :) Took him camping and it worked great for near the camp site.

I wasn’t sure if this would screw easily into the ground in Phoenix. Not only did it go into the ground without any trouble at all I also used it in Colorado, where I bump into rocks often. And it went in without even hesitation. Love it! It also came with an awesome carrying case.

This stayed in the ground well when my dog was pulling.

Ordered this for my bernese/poodle mix, zero issues keeping her on a 30ft lead. This is a hefty unit and very heavy duty.

130 Rottweiler hasn't pulled it out of ground when tring to get to rabbit or squirrels in yard

This is a heavy duty stake but the ring keeper is flimsy. The photo shows how I had to re-rig it after only 9 days with Sully, a 30 lb Bassett Hound puppy who snapped it & God only knows where it is now. If I hadn't been watching, I don't know where Sully would have gone! Be prepared to make modifications if you plan on using this for a large dog!!
