Luckily, I ordered this kit before the 90 degree temperature will be in town for the next 2 days.The kits is simple, it comes with 4 pieces extensions. I don’t see manual included but the picture on the box is really helpful and convenient. It is very straightforward set-up.I put a crew bar and crew on the slider that can we adjust by tightening the crew depend on the length of the window.Of course, there is not complete seal but they do provide some 3M tape. I used clear 3M tape to hold the kit and the window.Even though I supposed to order the 5.9 inch but the opening 5.1 inch works well. It required little bit of modifications but there is no problem with that.This kits is lot better than OEM comes with the AC which is not adjustable. I was surprised that aftermarket work my AC. Now, my room is ready for the challenge!!! Definitely recommended this kit.Pay attention to which size that you need.

So easy to install. The hose is nice and long so we don't have to put the air-conditioner unit on a platform now as the original hose was too short. This comes with weather stripping but it doesn't stick very well. Will purchase another kit for our other air-conditioned. It's great.

I like how the panels fit together to go in the window gap. I don't think the panels in this kit are any more flimsy then those that came with my air conditioner. There are 2 reasons I gave this product 4 instead of 5 stars are: without the insulating strip I put around the opening, The fitting would not have fit in the window, additionally, as some reviewers noted, the fitting does not sit very solidly in the panels. I check every couple of days to make sure it's still in place. After over a month, no problem.

This thrifted air conditioner didn’t come with a window kit and we needed a fix for that! Last year we struggled with cardboard and gaff tape….and that didn’t get the job done. This kit fits perfect, a quick to install and sturdy.

So my office is located at the top floor of our house in a loft and it gets much hotter up there. The central AC struggles to keep it tolerably cool, so I needed an alternative solution. Enter the portable air conditioner, except the exhaust vent is too short for the sliding glass patio door that's the only exit to the outdoors in an otherwise windowless room. Enter this widget and its competitors. Of the lot, this one seemed the most promising and best built, but it doesn't quite reach the top of the door. In fact, one more panel and it would've been perfect. Not one to give up, I simply jury rigged my own extension piece rather than buy another one just for one panel, but the necessity of having to do that is annoying, to say the least. On top of that, it tends to wobble slightly from the height of it and the way the panels slot together results in gaps between the panel and the sliding door where it meets the slightly less wide panels. All in all, It only half solves the problem I have and thus, I had to deduct some stars due to all the homemade solutions I had to apply to get it to work.

Fit together quickly and tightly. Able to install in the window and take it out effortlessly. If anything happens to it I will definitely buy this again in a heartbeat because it was a total Life saver.

This was an excellent product and can be placed in any window. I will be adding some weather stripping to it so that there are 0 gaps for cold air to escape. The vent hole is larger than I was expecting but is good

Used this to vent my dryer to the window for summer months when it's already too hot in the laundry room. Easy to modify with a little duct tape. Fits well in window.
