Tilda Boil in the Bag Basmati Rice 62.5g x 4

So basically, when it comes to cooking rice, i cannot cook rice if my life depended on it. The rice i have attempted to cook always ends up like a heap of mash potatoes. So what do i do? I buy Tilda ready boil in the bag rice, and that works like magic. I place the ready prepared pouch of uncooked rice in a pan of water, and presto, it's ready before i know it. Tastes great and is not sticky. What else could i ask for. Buy it and try, especially, if like me you are a terrible at cooking rice.

These are a great size for one portion and at a good price. I have always used the bigger bags in the past and there has always been rice left over at the end of the meal. Boil in the bag rice is much easier to cook than loose rice and so I will certainly buy some more of these when they become available again.

Good size portion, just about right for 1 person. Have to be careful not to overcook. Make sure you immerse in plenty of water to get the starch out and then leave it out to rest after cooking for a couple of minutes before opening. When they are £1 for a box they are great value. Not so much at £2 however tilda is nicer than many brands of rice.
