Great fan, easy DIY job to fit, took about 45mins to fit and it’s super quiet and in the summer keeps the heat away. Much better than the brass looking wooden nasty thing that was fitted before.

Really like the fan - bought 3 of them for different rooms - the remotes are keyed to a fan as part of the installations process, so each controller controls one fan - it's detailed in the supplied instructions - an important thing since the link from controller to fan is by radio rather than infra-red, so line-of-sight is not required.One thing I think needs to be updated is that the listing says it consumes 20 watts all in. The supplied paperwork say 40w ( max ) for the fan 30w (max) for the lamp, so potentially up to 70watts in all. I'll leave you to decide what to believe. For completeness the fans we have are the 52 inch in Burlywood/Silver.As a product, I think they are great - We bought ours in August, and had them fitted by an electrician during that month. So we missed most of the summer, but that's our timing. Expect it to be very useful while working from home next summer. The electrician commented ( very reasonably having read them ) that the instructions were not clear and took some interpreting. The first fan took a few hours to be installed - the remaining 2 fans were a lot quicker having gained the experience of the 1st one.The fan & light are working fine - but I do have concerns as to how long the LED lights will last - as they don't appear to be replaceable and are certainly none standard. Time will tell I guess.

It took my wife and I two hours to install. This is not a fault with the fan, just with us at an average age of 83. The unit is quite heavy, much more than the fan light we replaced which we had had for 15 years and wouldn't work with the newly fitted led dimmer switch. Study the instructions and work out what has to go where and in which order before you start!The mounting bracket wasn't a direct replacement for its predecessor and new holes had to be drilled but in the end it was secure. The heavy cabling used in our house didn't help when trying to connect the bracket. To assist I had to insert a further connector block with more flexible wiring, and our house of 55 years doesn't have earth lighting wiring. Otherwise just follow the instructions. And read the translated detailed description given by the German gentleman reviewer - it fills in a lot of detail.Finally, as the German gentleman says, be careful when re-connecting the lighting plate srcews. I managed to cross-thread one of them (vey easily) so had to find a suitable self-tapper to replace thecrossed screw. As a lifetime diy-er I have a large collection.I could have done it on my own ten years ago when my balance was better.When completed it immediately sprang into life and worked as described. The lack of an earth didn't seem to affect it in any way. The 48 inch blades seem very large at first but she soon got used to the difference. And there was not the slightest wobble, even at max speed. Impressive air mover.

This was a really good purchase - looking at other bedroom fans comparable models were more than twice as much as I paid. Very efficient and quiet. Highly recommended.

The fan is lovely but the wrong remote and motor were sent with it so I couldn’t connect to the wifi. I contacted the company and they sent me a new motor and remote.I paid to have the fan installed and now I have to pay more to get the motor changed so I can use it. By the reactions of people saying it doesn’t connect to wifi I would say this is a common occurrence that the correct parts aren’t sent out.Just to confirm it is advertised as a smart fan so yes it should connect through wifi. If your remote doesn’t have wifi symbol above the 4h button then you need to contact the company because you’ve probably been sent the wrong remote and motor.This hasn’t got a higher rating solely because the amount of extra money I’ve had to pay to get this fixed. Saying that the company were good at sending the items quickly.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this fan for our lounge, very easy to build and install, all the screws are already in place, you dont even need the instructions, its just a case of removing the screws, remembering where you took them from, install another part onto the motor unit and put the corresponding screw back in, you cant really get the wiring wrong, as there is only 3 plugs coming out of the fan, just route the wires with the plugs up the centre pole as you're building it, screw the fan bracket into you celling (which is probably the trickiest part), hang the fan on the bracket and push the control box into the top of the bracket, they are all different plugs for the wiring and only each fit in one spot on the controller unit, so any electricians that are telling you its a bit tricky to install, are lying to you, im not a qualified electrician and built and installed this in less than an hour in low light after we didnt get our delivery until 8pm summer time.We did need the instructions on how to set it up to the smart life app, but fairly easy and once done, you can add the skill to Alexa and have her control everything to do with the unit, fan on and off, fan speed, light on or off, and the dimmer.

No instructions for pairing to app, doesn't seem to be a smart fan at all. Only remote control use. Installed now so I won't return it but feel very misled by the sellers pictures and descriptions.
