Update: I got contacted by the customer service very quickly and got a replacement. The replacement works as expected. I am quite happy with the whole process. I packed it and forgot about it since I travel a lot, I lost track of it.I took out a few days ago. Hoping to get a replacement or a refund.

This grooming kit is almost a 5 star product. The trimmer and attachments work very well. FYI: Always start with oiled blades; one drop should do it for the first couple of weeks to a month. You want to oil the blades for two important reasons: first, to reduce the friction between the blades and second, to insure a clean cut as to not pull your hairs and give the hairs a smooth (non-split) appearance.As for the shaver, I was surprised how well it actually works. The only problem was, for me having a pretty full/thick stubble, it took a few passes/strokes to completely remove the hair. I will probably stick with my trusty Trac ll razor.The minor reasons I slight this groomer 1 star is the attachment heads are a bit difficult to interchange; you must be very careful not to damage the delicate (plastic) parts and the tray is all but useless since the attachments do not sit well and easily fall/flop out. I would have rather they included a trimmer blade protective cover. I have 2 older Wahl Groomsman which came with trimmer protectors which is nice if the trimmer may accidentally tip over.Overall, for $20.00, this is a great groomer/shaver/trimmer to have. I expect many years of use from this grooming kit since my original (over 30 years old) battery operated Wahl Groomsman still works.

Easy to set up. It can be charged while in the stand. Cuts cleanly. Any trimmer (I've used many) that is used with-out the blade guide can nip, this one included. It has a nice selection of guides as well as other trimmer attachments: a small finishing trimmer, a shaver, and a nose-hair trimmer. A cleaning brush and oil (use very sparingly) are included to keep the blades clean and maintained. - READ the manual before use, and the trimmer should last for a long time. The unit is powered by Nickle-Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery. It is better than a Nickle-Cadmium (NiCad) battery as NiMH batteries are not as prone to "memory" and generally have better life between charges. However, you should fully discharge the battery before returning to charger for best performance and longevity.5yr warranty!I have noted a few other reviews complaining that the blades rusted after cleaning with water.... well duh! It states right in the manual "Do not clean with water because the blades will rust".

I was surprised by the low price when I expect such high quality from Wahl... now I understand.First, this is tiny. From the pictures you might have the impression this is near the size of a normal set of Wahl trimmers. The tip is actually only a bit over an inch wide.Second, if I buy something wireless, with a docking station, I expect the charger to be part of the dock. Not "you can plug it in and then have it sit in the station while plugged in." I am back to hunting for the end of the cord to plug it in and then looking for the hole in the trimmer to plug into ... Even though I have a "wireless docking station".Lastly, the pieces don't really fit the docking station either. They kind of sit precariously ON the station... But they don't lock in or seat in such a way that you know what-goes-where and that it will stay there, even if you, for example, slightly bump it while trying to hunt for the end of your charging cord... Parts tumble everywhere like you just lost a game of Jenga.

Doesn't come with the stand shown in the picture but you can get everything to fit. On left side place nose hair clipper in front then the height attachments; then in the middle the unit; in front of where the unit is their is a small groove on each side where you can slide just back edges of foil shaver then in the front right place the detail trimmer. I am a Union Ironworker and I had the privileged to work on an addition to the Wahl clipper plant in Sterling Illinois. AND I ALWAYS TRY TO BUY LOCAL AND AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS. WAHL EMPLOYEES MANY PEOPLE IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS. They pay a living wage and still manage to put out the best products for low prices. I got this for my son..lol..who has been using the Wahl cordless trimmer I purchased to trim my Morkie. I only tried to use it once and always clean things with rubbing alcohol and oil when. Done using. It did work out because the clipper....my Morkie wouldnt cooperate. The Wahl family also has contributed much money to charity. So you can get American Made Quality from a company that loves America and supports the community.

Nice but smaller than it seems in the ad but works well enough for the price, dont like clutter so i just throw the stuff i dont want in accessories with the possible exception of the shaver i have never had a nice shave without a blade so i dont use the shaver,I use the clippers to cut my short hair,which i like and use the most,and the ear trimmer and the nose hair trimmer too work well enough for my needs and for the price ,i always buy in this price range because although it is true "you get what you pay for"IMHO to pay too much for things that fail yearly no matter what you pay is not good,better to buy an affordable one (not cheap) and simply replace it every year or two,and this is one of those things,they need sharpening no matter what about that often so even if the motor still runs after two years,they still dont cut well with dull blades,good luck.

Excelente, había tenido antes de la misma marca pero hechas en China, hay mucha diferencia ya que ésta es hecha en Estados Unidos, se nota muchísimo la diferencia en calidad y la compré a un muy buen precio

I've been using Philips since last 5 years. This is the first time I tried Wahl, honestly, it doesn't have any power, no turbo mode, gives you cuts if you try to trim in opposite direction. You really need to be patient enough to use it which can only happen if you don't have any other job in life.

El paquete llego en tiempo, todo llego en buen estado, la máquina funciona bien, tal vez el único problema es que los peines en ocasiones se atoran y se siente un jalón, pero de manera general todo está bien.

Bueno producto, básico, no esperen la súper rasuradora, sin embargo por el precio me parece un buen artículo. Sigo usándola sin problemas después de dos años.

Es un producto de buena calidad para uso domestido. La construccion y los materiales son buenos en relacion con el precio. No es para uso profesional, pero para uso diario en casa es excelente.Las cuchillas cortan bien y trae buenos accesorios.
