The Greedy Panda Cookbook: Essential Rice Cooker Recipes For Rice Cooker Enthusiasts

This is an excellent cookbook, much better than I expected. I find the recipes work and there are lots of helpful tips on how to use the rice cooker. I have recommended this to family members as it's useful even if you don't have a YumAsia cookbook. I also appreciate that the recipes are international and not just western dishes cooked in a rice cooker.

Really good recipes but somebody really should have proof read it first. There are some recipes with ingredients listed but then aren't mentioned at all in the method when to add to the dish and then some recipes will say 'add such an ingredient' in the method but isn't listed in the ingredients and so you don't know how much to add. Overall really good but be prepared to improvise slightly on the odd dish

Plenty of great ideas but often requiring cooking in separate utensils from the Panda rice maker.

This is a good simple to use recipe book mainly involving eastern recipes like curries, as you would expect. The instructions were very clear. However, most recipes only use the rice cooker for cooking rice and the other ingredients are cooked manually in a pan. In this respect it's not entirely a rice cooker recipe book.

Lots of lovely recipes. Nice colour pages and photographs. Alot of the recipes aren't exactly rice cooker recipes, more like something you cook in a pan and then put rice with!- however, there are lots of good tips for the rice cooker if you're new to it (like me,) and I enjoyed the seasoning ideas. Overall a good purchase. £3 cheaper on yumasia website though!

Has a good range of recipes plus some interesting information on the types of rice and the development of rice cookers. I wanted to make better use of my rice cooker, I’ve made some tasty porridge, rice pudding and a great massaman curry. I got the kindle version for myself and then the book for my parents, I’ve not seen the book but my parents said it was well printed and a nice size and they also like the recipes they’ve tried.

Köpte den här med hopp om att den skulle innehålla bra och lätta recept till riskokare. Det gör den också, många av recepten är intressanta och de vi har provat hittills har varit väldigt goda. Vi har en väldigt basic riskokare, och många av recepten kräver avancerade funktioner som vi inte har tillgång till. En hel del kräver också att man tillagar själva huvudingrediensen i stekpanna medan riset kokar i riskokaren (vilket, inte för att skryta, är en teknik vi listat ut redan innan vi köpte boken). Köper man den här boken med förhoppning om enkla middagar som sköter sig själva är den lite för dyr tyvärr i mitt tycke.

Je galérais à trouver des recettes (surtout pour la fonction gâteau) pour mon cuiseur à riz Panda de cette marque et je suis ravie d'avoir trouvé un livre de recettes "officiel". J'ai pour l'instant testé le gros pancake japonais et c'est très bon, pratique et facile à faire. Je recommande pour les personnes ayant un cuiseur Yum Asia. Attention le livre ne se lance pas sur liseuse kindle, il faut l'ouvrir sur l'application mobile/tablette
