Of all the options on Amazon, this was the best one to teach my 2.5 year old about a calendar. She knows her days of the weeks order and her months order, so this is a great way to teach them their purpose and hopefully how to use a calendar.It’s not meant to take abuse, so I do have to keep it above her reach, but still viewable throughout the day (I picked her up as we moved all the items around together). The magnets are not strong enough to hold items, but enough to stay onto the calendar sheet. I like it since it’s not difficult to remove or move around.It doesn’t have magnets for the days of the week nor are the seasons removable. So, I used the extra dividing strips and wrote the days on those since it’s thin enough to be added and big and colorful enough to be read separately. I also use the extra blank-yellow-day boxes to cover the seasons. Again, I used part of the extra strip dividers to mark the day on the calendar among the other numbers.I chose this one for its simplicity. All other calendars out there have so many different colors, pictures, pieces, that you can’t easily look at them to immediately get information. Other calendars don’t even have a calendar format to learn how to use a calendar. This one functions like a normal calendar that my whole family can depend on and look at from across the room, so I’m confident that my toddler will be able to do the same sooner than later.

I teach my children at home and wanted a calendar like this to teach my daughter about seasons, the date, days of the week, months of the year and the weather. The only thing missing is the temperature. Everyday we go over the date and she gets to change the date. We also review the days of the week and months of the year and she counts to 31. We review the seasons and discuss how we know what season it is and she checks the weather outside and changes the weather. This has been a great little hands-on activity for her and she loves getting to do that everyday. I will warn you that the magnets aren't the strongest and it's easy for them to sometimes get knocked off (mostly the yellow date ones) but they are easy to find due to the color. There is a place for hanging it up on the wall. Very happy with my purchase.

I use this calendar for my online preschool. It's super cute. The only complaint I have is the seasons are not magnetic. They are pictures. It's not that big a deal since I can point to the board and ask them the weather. The price was great. I would definitely consider getting a thicker variation if you intend to have children use it. I don't know how long it would hold up if I had in person classes now. I've already accidentally bumped into it and lost some numbers. Thank goodness they supply 4 extra blank ones for you to fill in. I used a dry erase marker and it worked out. Overall it's great for what I need.

Great product for pre school or young school age kids! Would definitely buy again.

I bought this for my 3 year old to practice days/months. The magnets are weak and fall off easily. It’s a good size for her and I like the idea but it does look a little cramped and unorganized. Biggest downfall was the magnets though.

I've had this calendar since February 2020 it is now December 2020. It is perfect- I'm not sure about the others saying the dates are weak magnets but ours have never fallen off, its always magnetized perfectly, very sturdy not flimsy at all. The calendar looks exactly the same as when I bought it. My kid absolutely loves to do the date and weather every day! We used command strips as to not put holes in the walls- it has been hung on the wall with the velcro command strips for all this time and has never fallen either! Great buy.

Pros: I like how compact the product is. It's colorful and easy to use. I like that it has the weather feature.Cons: The seasons aren't magnets. There's no year.

Don’t even bother. First having to adjust the magnets every month is a pain, but we do it. All of a sudden it has started curling at the bottom and has split apart. The magnets won’t even stay on now. It’s been in the same spot for months - not subject to any weather or extreme temperatures. Haven’t even had a year and has been hanging up maybe 7 months.
