MapeiKeracaulk S Sanded Caulking (Avalanche)

I’ve used this sanded caulk before and always have had good results. Basically, it looks like grout when applied to stone. I had an area between a faux stacked stone hearth and the mantle that needed to be filled. This goes on easy, tools to a great, smooth finish and looks like a grouted joint when you’re done. Cleans up with water. Easy. Done.

Arrived quickly. Works well. I purchased the avalanche sanded grout and it matches the avalanche grout I used on my backsplash. I died it to fill in the gap where the tile met the counter top. Looks really good. I’ll keep a tube handy for future use if needed.

The Mapei sanded caulk is an excellent product. The Avalanche caulk matches the Mapei Avalanche grout perfectly and I had no problem getting the caulk into the 1/16" joints between tile and window/door trim. The caulk has a nice creamy consistency and flows smoothly from the small opening at the tip of the container.

Bought Avalanche. It looks like a light grey against a white computer screen, but the product that arrived is as white as a paper towel. Total waste of money since I had to open it to discover this.
