Really surprised
I’ve used several WiFi antennas with mixed success. This particular one is being used to push a WiFi signal out into the forest 100 yards or so to a Ring Camera we set up as a trail camera.I’m using an old WiFi router/extender I had laying around with it. The signal is stable and solid at this distance. Speed is most likely limited by the 10 year old router so I can’t speak to that but the signal is solid and I get the impression that so long as the sight line was maintained I still could move back a significant distance and still maintain enough speed to keep the solar camera stable.

Big improvement
All I did was swap one of these for one of the stock antennas on a cheap Trendnet N300 AP. Drilled a hole through the exterior wall and screwed the antenna mount to the side of the building. Big difference. I was barely able to connect to wifi across my property in a camper. If I was lucky, I would only get around 0.25Mbps and constantly disconnecting. Now I can maintain the connection and get 5-10Mbps. I might screw around and mount this antenna up higher in the future to get much higher speeds. It's good enough for now. Took 5 mins to install.Side note, I was using an Asus AC66U B1 as an access point until I found out the antennas are not detachable. I went with a Trendnet TEW-638APB and I'm happy with it connected to just one of these antennas. Unfortunately the trendnet AP is limited by a single 100Mbps ethernet port. Oh well.

do not buy this product they don't even show extractions how to hook it up
this product is really difficult to understand. There's no videos how to show you how to hook it up. I got it and I couldn't hook it up straight to the trailer. The output was very small so you have to buy another piece just to try to hook it up I think that this is a scam and not a very well-made product.

We didn't get much more signal strength.
Didn't do much for signal. Ended up changing carriers.

Extends range of router outside
I use this on my router to give me WiFi ourdoors. The router is near an outside wall. I drilled hole and ran the cable out and up to the roof. Gives me Wifi outdoors. It lost a star because the cable wasn't long enough and they didn't give me a choice of length. I would have liked another 5 ft. Build quality is excellent and should last in the weather for years.

Tested Over 1 KM Line-of-Sight
For those curious, I was able to successfully establish a 5 Ghz connection from 1.1 km away with perfect signal strength, 80% link quality, and up to 520 Mbps Tx/Rx speeds (per Realtek USB Wireless LAN Utility) connected to the QGOO USB 3.0 dual band WiFi dongle. I then successfully established a 2.4 Ghz connection from 1.2 km away with perfect signal strength and link quality and up to 130 Mbps Tx/Rx speeds. Obviously, the distance achieved will vary greatly based on line-of-sigh obstacles, weather, and correctly positioning the antenna.I saw one negative review complaining that the back of the antenna isn't magnetic as advertised. There are 2 or 3 small magnets running vertically down the center of the back of the antenna but they aren't very strong. So be warned that, if it's going to work, you'll need a neodymium magnet strip and you may not be able to get the flexibility to position the directional antenna to your target access point.

Well built, with an RP-SMA male connector
Well built, comes with good hardware. Based on the pictures, I wasn't sure whether or not the cable at the base of the antenna had a N connector and an adapter for the cable, but no, it is a true RP-SMA connection directly to the antenna element. So the only interface you have with the antenna is indeed the RP-SMA male connector at the end of the 10' cable. This is the standard connector used for WiFi access points that have antenna connections. If you need more than 10', buy an RP-SMA cable (with one side male, the other female) to extend.
