Safe for fish and plants (and snails when used right)
Cured my 20 gal tank of ich, and didnt affect my plants. Took out my nerite snails and treated them with a lighter dose and they are just fine! no deaths and everybody is doing great months later. Did dye the silicone slightly but nothing that noticeable

You never want to need it and not have it on hand
The dreaded ich! What aquarist hasn't had to fight with this aggravating problem at least once? I am getting back into aquariums after several decades and enjoying every bit of it except one thing: Worrying about what happens if my fish gets sick. I am keeping a very small setup - one 10g with a single betta male in it for now, and I will be adding four julii corys in a few weeks, once everything has settled down and my betta boy feels comfortable and I'm sure the tank is cycled properly. He was kind of a no-notice rescue so I've had to do a fish-in cycle. One of the first things I needed to do was get my at-home pharmacy together. Starting from zero, I quickly learned that aquarium science has grown by leaps and bounds, and to my delight there are so many new and better things available now. I love Hikari and Seachem products, and Ich-X was highly recommended by folks I spoke to when asking for recommendations on what I should have on-hand. The bottle arrived very quickly and in great condition, and now sits amongst its fellows in my fish pharmacy, where I hope it will expire before I ever need it. At which time, I shall replace it with a fresh bottle, because you just never know, and I can't take the anxiety of worrying about what I'll do if my fish get sick. Reasonable cost for a product with a very high reputation for quality and efficacy.

Best ich treatment available!!
It works!! I had an ich outbreak in my tank and this took care of it. Do yourself a favor and just order this even if you don’t have ich yet - the shipping takes several days and I was tormented watching my fish decline until it arrived. It took until day 4 of treatment to see improvement, and now on day 5 it’s almost totally gone. And my Amano shrimp and snails have survived through the in-tank treatment, and no fish (a female betta and 6 ember tetras) succumbed to the parasite. Follow the instructions to the letter, and remember that even if you have, say, a 10 gallon tank, unless you fill to the brim and have zero decoration (evaluate your life), you should account for your actual water volume in the tank when dosing Ich-X. So I guesstimated I had closer to 8 gallons of water, and did about 4ml of Ich-X instead of the 5ml for 10 gallons. The measuring cap it comes with is a little tough to be precise with small mL volume, so maybe get a separate measuring pipette or something, but I eyeballed it and had success. Also, aerate!! I turned my tank temp up to 82, which lowers oxygen in my water. I have a HOB filter but also panic-ordered a little stone bubbler for the treatment as well, and I think it helped. Fish often die of ich due to suffocation as it infects their gills. Finally, just poke a hole through the foil cap and squeeze out what you need. Way less blue mess that way. This is considered the best ich treatment available, for good reason. I’ll never be without it again. 10/10

Amazing
This ich medicine worked really well when I had ick in my fish tank and it saved the new fish I had bought. This brand of ick medicine is also great if you have scaleless fish (like loaches) or snails because this medicine (unlike api ick medicine) won’t kill your scaleless fish or snails. This will my go to brand just make sure you follow the instructions or you may kill your fish like I have done before unfortunately.

amazing product
I have always used this and never had an issue with pick. Never lost a fish because of it either. Easy to use. Turns water blue for about an hour. Will clear up after

good price and works very well
so as most of you all know with our aquariums it is always a race to find what works best for the illnesses our beloved fish may or may not throughout there lifespan and the last time i used this product it worked amazing i own a 30 gallon aquarium with various live bearing fish and shrimp but recently i ran into a disease that was killing off a guppy/endler guppy or two so i let the illness spread through out the strain lost 2 guppies while treating the tank with herbal fungal medication that didn't kill the disease and fyi i was trying to see if it was old age or an actual disease because the only thing i could see from the outside was the fish with clamped tail fine and skinny stomach and instead of subjecting the fish to meds i wanted to make sure 100 percent it was a disease and after the two fish died it was back to normal until two younger guppies got it so I'm like I have no idea what this disease is but because the fish were scratching there body against the gravel and plants and seeing that and knowing that that is a sign of ick i put this medication in risking my shrimp population but used half the dose like it says on bottle if you have invertebrates in your tank and long story short it killed the disease but ended up losing one guppy out of the two that got sick this product also treats other diseases as well as ich
