WOW- I've been doing my own nails (polygel) for about a year, gradually modifying products and techniques through the learning process. My process has been to gently rough up the nail plate, use a dehydrater, a uv/led base coat, then polyget, etc. Since I was still getting lifting on 1-3 nails within a week, I finally just decided to try a primer. After reading many reviews, I went with this brand. This is truly a GAME CHANGER! It's been one week, and NO LIFTING!! Note that the product description is a bit deceptive- it's not a UV gel: it's a primer that air dries similar to a dehydrator. But this product has a bit of an odor, like the smell of acrylic nail powder w/ monomer. The odor dissipates quickly, which is good.
