Great look into local history
Prinarily a history of the "Rainier" brand. Great photos and lots of historical information. Would have liked additional maps and more info on the micro brewing boom now taking place (but I guess that could warrant a book of its own). I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in what the title suggests: Brewing and Seattle history.

He was born in Everett and brought up in the Tacoma area and enjoy different kinds of beer's and found the book to be a great read.

Great book; my friend enjoyed it very much. He is a brewery buff and this book was very informative for him.

Coffee table book !
A book of pictures and hardly no information.I don't know what I expected, but it is a typicalquick written book. I could find out more by surfingthe internet for 10 minutes. Even some of the informationis incorrect. There are many other books out there on thissubject, skip this one ! The 2 stars are for the pictures !

Brewing in Seattle
This is a great book filled with accurate & interesting photos! They made it clear how pre & post prohibition brewing in Seattle varied & they have some GREAT pictures! I don't think there's a book long enough to include ALL the amazing breweries we have now, but there are some highlights in there about current brewing in Seattle. But I bought this primarily for the historical information, and it is wonderful!
