Awesome doorstop! It is very long and perfect for my needs. I have an outdoor gate on our privacy fence and we’re often going in and out of the yard so I needed a way to prop the gate open. We have an uneven concrete driveway and so this length is perfect for us to be able to reach the ground. It’s also held up outside for many months. I would purchase this again.

Our exterior door opens out, over a three inch sloping rain threshold area. A standard 4 inch door stopper always had problems. This 7 inch door stop reaches all the way down to the level concrete. It is now easy to apply and easy to release. This is a much better solution.

When our storm door opens, there is a rather large transition/drop to the sidewalk in the full open position. While the door has a cylinder type door closer that is supposed to have the ability to keep the door in an open position, the reality is that those are a weak link and I've already gone through two of them. Rather than buying another and seeing it fail again, this provided a nice simple solution to keep the door open, which is needed at times. This is long enough that it does the trick. Shorter ones just wouldn't work.

I needed a longer door stopper than the norm for two storm doors. This one fit the criteria and so far works well. Yes, I recommend this item!

A great well thought out solution for our garage - laundry room door. Garage floor is a 4" step down from the laundry room floor, so, not just any door stop would work. We are very pleased with this unit. It folds up, out of the way and securely holds the door open for us when we need to bring groceries into the house from the garage.

I was happy to find this as it was longer than the 4-5 inch ones in nearby hardware stores. But...i had measured what I needed for my garden shed from concrete to bottom of the door, it was 6 inches, I thought I'd end up with a little extra to play with but...unfortunately I didn't take into account when the leg is angled into position, it's no longer 7inches so turns out I was 1/2 inch short. But we made it work with a dowel and it works great! I hope the pictures can explain what I'm trying to say and as others mentioned, don't bother using the extremely short screws, they are likely to pull out of whatever you've screwed them into. Overall, at this point, I'm very pleased.

Perfect and long enough to hold doors open of my shed outside.
