THINKOBD 500 OBD2 Scanner Check, Engine Car Code Reader, THINKCAR OBDII Diagnostic Scan Tool, Read and Clear Error Codes, 2.8 Inches Dispaly

I work in the breakdown industry for a very large company (not saying which).My company laptop failed which also doubles as the diagnostics.Out of a bit of desperation I bought this reader. It's impossible to do breakdowns without some sort of reader.I've had it 5 days and successfully read: 2022 Tuscon, 2012 Caddy, 2006 CRV, 2008 3008 and a 2009 Yaris.It was easy to use and accurate. It reads the codes and deleted the ones I wanted deleted without issue.It is no replacement for a proper diagnostic machine that can do regens and access other systems and go much deeper.the quality of the machine is fine for occasional use. I'm not sure how long it would last if I was to use it in my job on a daily basis. But for a diy mechanic and needs to see all the info that OBD2 gives you, you can't go wrong with this.As you can see code P2112 and it also gives you what the code means. From the symptoms a sticking throttle body motor was what I thought. The machine cleared the code without issue (no doubt to reoccur as I didn't replace the part).If Thinkcar want to send me something for giving them this amazing review, feel free ;-) . But this is a true review from my experience with it.

This is a great OBD2 Reader, Colour screen, easy to use and has Live data Graphs. great value for money.and it works with Citreon C4 Grand Picasso 2010!

Successfully read and provided descriptions of error codes on 2012 Ford Focus that MOTOPOWER MP69033 couldn't read/see.Connection was very simple and self-powered off port.Didn't need to do any update for what I need yet, but like the fact this can update it's software and also copy off logs from the device onto your PC via included USB cable.Screen and buttons clear and simple to use

Update, Vin read and I/C features don't work.

Doesnt do anything fancy, just reads the fault codes and allows you to clear them. Noce that it has in built fuller explanations of the faults and the graph real time readouts make it easier to diagnose things. Id recommend it for the price but dont expect it to pick up anything past standard engine/exhaust sensors and dashboard/pedal electrical faults

The device looked nice and well-made. However, when plugged into my car it went into a start-up procedure with lots of X marks and then displayed a "communication error." I went online for a solution - no help from the Thinkcar web site. Sent an email to customer service and was told to send details of the serial no. of the device, the make of the car, the model, the VIN number and the description of the fault. Got a reply but it did not offer any help or support. I tried twice more to get support via email but nothing but apologies. I tried it on a different car with the same result however this time I saw a fault displayed on my dashboard which I couldn't remove. In the end, they suggested I go back to Amazon for a replacement. Instead, I returned it after several frustrating, time-consuming and fruitless effort

Easy to use. Compared the results with a local garage & they were exactly the same. Used it on my Peugeot 108 & will work on Citroen C1.
