I treat them like a ziploc bag. If you are putting blueberries in it for a short time, it would be fine. If you are putting them in for an extended time where they would go bad in a ziploc, then they need to be drier. I really like these. I put celery and carrots in them for my lunch and use them for storage of other foods in the fridge. The top closes nicely.
