I have suffered from UTI's since the age of 15. I've had so many UTI's and many many doctor visits. I would typically get recurrent UTI's every 2-3 months and have to call my doctor. It was starting to get embarrassing to me because I did EVERYTHING in my power to prevent UTI's. Every Doctor I visited would become so baffled as to why I was getting them and would ask dumb questions like "Do you wipe front to back?" like I was a dirty person or something. I even switched doctor's here and there to get other doctor's perspectives and because I was embarrassed of going in for the same consistent problem every couple months. On my last visit, my Dr. said that I didn't have a UTI (That would happen every so often too, I would waste time and money visiting the doctor because of urinary pain, but not actually have a UTI). The urine test was negative of a UTI and my doctor asked me if I wanted to be checked for STD's. That comment made me upset. I have only been with one partner my entire life. It was also scary too because it was like nobody could help me prevent this urinary pain and UTI's. I felt like I was going to have to suffer with this problem my entire life. I had enough at that point and was beginning to become very very depressed due to this stressful issue. I also felt like a money maker for doctors. I was a consistent patient with my visits. My boyfriend was concerned for me and did some major researching and found out some people on a thread were talking about an over the counter supplement- D-Mannose and how it works just as well as taking antibiotics. They were talking about how it can prevent and cure UTI's. We found out that D-Mannose makes its way to your urinary tract, it targets E. Coli, the bacteria responsible for 90% of UTIs. Instead of killing E. coli, D-Mannose acts as a competitive inhibitor, meaning it attracts and binds with E. coli, so that the bacteria can be occupied and safely rinsed, preventing it from binding with your urinary tract instead. Solaray D-Mannose cured my last UTI I had and prevented me from having to pay for another doctor visit. I have been taking Solaray D-Mannose for several months now and have yet to have a problem since my last one was cured. I take 2- 1,000 mg everyday to prevent UTI's. To cure UTI's, I would double that, so 2- 1000 mg twice a day. I highly HIGHLY recommend this product, specifically "Solaray" brand D-mannose for those who are suffering like I have been for years of UTI's and urinary pain. The sad part is that D-Mannose is not actively talked about and a lot of people have not even heard about this supplement. Why aren't doctors telling patients about this product as a preventative?! If you type in google "over the counter meds for UTI," D-Mannose is not talked about. This is why I had never heard of it before until my boyfriend found it on a hidden thread. It needs to be more known! So much money could be saved by taking this over the counter supplement & the peace of mind by using D-mannose. Solaray D-Mannose supplement prevents and cures UTI's!

Did the job

I use other Solaray products so I decided to try this brand of D-mannose to treat a long-lasting UTI. I had urinary pain for 3 months. It was frustrating. Antibiotics were only marginally helpful and I was beginning to be concerned it was something more serious. I read a very helpful review on here from a girl whose boyfriend read an article that D-mannose, while not widely recommended by very many doctors, was a great option and as it turned out, it was the only thing that helped her. I decided to try it. Within a week, my pain was gone!! As others have said, take 2 capsules for maintenance and take 4 (2 capsules twice a day) for an active infection. Be sure to only take them with as much water as it takes to swallow the capsules so you don’t over- dilute them. Then, wait an hour or so and then drink a lot of water. I originally took 2 when I went to bed and 2 when I woke up but found the trick was 2 at bedtime and then 2 at noon the next day. Repeat until pain is gone. I now take 2 just at bedtime as a preventative. Thank you, Solaray! This really does work!!

It works so well... so if you are looking Yes is all I'm going to say and on the spot for the price point too.

Tried them and am happy with them

I use this product bc of the advice of my doctor. Seems to be helping, but I do take other medications for the same issue so not sure what meds are helping. Hopefully, the combination of all of them.

I was desperately searching for something to help my chronic bladder infections and discovered these supplements. The price was reasonable, and based on the outstanding reviews I gave them a shot and they far exceeded my expectations.I was diagnosed with a urinary retention problem many years ago, and was informed by my urologist that I would likely need to be on antibiotics for the rest of my life. That didn't sit well with me and so I've suffered frequent UTIs for years (I'm talking every couple of weeks!). Sometimes the UTIs would progress to full on kidney infections. Needless to say I needed relief. Cranberry juice and Azo just weren't cutting it.Once I ordered the D-Mannose everything changed. As soon as I feel the telltale signs of a UTI coming on, I take two capsules and within 24 hours all symptoms disappeared. I will admit I've never been good about taking pills consistently (which is recommended with these), so I generally only take the capsules when a UTI crops up, and it still works perfectly. Now I find that I only need to dose maybe once a month (if that), and the relief is almost instant and permanent!I can't say enough good things about this product, and if you are suffering like I was, you'll purchase this product ASAP. No joke. Do it! I never had much faith in herbal supplements, but boy was I wrong. I think you too will be floored at the effectiveness. I only wish I'd found this stuff years ago! Seriously, go for it!

These are easy to swallow cranberry and vitamin C capsules. They were recommended by a doctor.

Lo uso cuando tengo algún periodo de cistitis. Las tengo recurrentes y cuando llevo dos o tres en varios meses hago una tanda de un bote de esto y se cortan durante un año! 100/100

Es la primera vez que tomo esta marca, tengo que esperar resultados porque me parece un poco caro. Si me va bien merecerá la pena el precio.
