Best vacuum I’ve ever owned
I cannot say enough how much I love this vacuum. I had went through a few different vacuums that work amazing at first but then after a month, lose suction. I’ve had this one a few months now and the suction is still strong and works like it’s brand new. It was easy to put together and came with instructions, although you don’t really need them, it’s pretty simple. & it was an amazing deal because this vacuum is normally twice the price everywhere else! It will also last forever which saves money in itself because you won’t have to keep purchasing a new vacuum every year. The suction is just as strong as the day I bought it, it picks up dirt and everything else with ease. I own a cleaning company and use this for the company as well as at home and have had zero issues. If you’re looking for a good, quality vacuum- this is the one to get!

Powerful Suction and Easy to Use. Self-Cleaning Brush is a Big Plus
The Shark Navigator Lift-Away has been a game changer for keeping my floors clean. Suction is strong on both carpets and hard floors, picking up hair, dirt, and debris with minimal passes. So much so that we have to adjust the suction on carpet to beable to push it. The Lift-Away feature makes it easy to clean stairs and under furniture without dragging the whole unit around. The self-cleaning brush roll is awesome. It really helps prevent hair wrap, which saves a lot of time and frustration compared to other vacuums I’ve used. Maneuverability is smooth, and the attachments are handy for quick spot cleaning.

Best vacuum for dogs yet
Let me start with I have 3-100lb dogs and a doggie door that is gone thru all day long.. You don’t get much more hair, dirt, mud and just plain yuck than that. Shark never disappoints!! This is my second one for my house. The last model I bought doesn’t have a replacement roller so we use it in our outdoor room. The new Sharks suction is better than the old one. I couldn’t believe how much dirt over hair I got. I also like the different design in the dust cup which makes it easier to empty as the hair doesn’t get stuck now. It’s light compared to my last one. Easy to clean and it’s easy design makes it a breeze to put together. It’s extremely durable mine already fell down the steps.🤣 I can’t make this stuff up. Anyway, purchase the vacuum you will not be disappointed by any means. If you got dogs, this is the one you want. You can completely tear it down and clean it. You know, in case you run over pee that landed on the carpet from some innocent soul chewing on a bone. Surely my favorite part. One on right in pic is new one. NO COMPLAINTS

Strong suction and excellent carpet performance
The brushes and crevice tools work very well, especially for windowsills and corners. The vacuum is slightly heavier than I prefer, but the weight seems to help with how well it cleans carpet. This is by far the best vacuum I’ve found for carpet. It lifts well and leaves the carpet looking noticeably better. It also performs well on hard floors. The only downside for me is that the cord is a bit short, which can be auper aggravating. Overall, a great vacuum. I would buy again.

This sucker is awesome
I am where vacuums go to die. With 4 dogs and 5 cats, living on a mountain farm, I kill vacuums on a regular basis. I've managed to take out everything from an old Kirby to a new Dyson & everything in between. Even the ones designed for pet hair didn't last long. Then I got a shark navigator. It was true love! It was like having a Catholic priest come in on a regular basis to perform an exorcism on my carpets. For years, me & my Shark performed miracles in my home, proclaiming from my mountain top... THIS HOUSE IS CLEAN! Then we moved. I allowed a stranger to take my beloved Shark and haul it 2600 miles. By the time it arrived, it was too late. I founded it shoved behind a pile of boxes, hidden by the movers until after they left. It was literally in pieces, it's hoses and cords shredded and pulled from thier sockets. The handle snapped off at the neck, there was no chance of resurrection. I couldn't imagine what kind of torture my poor loyal side kick had endured, and was in doubt I would ever know such admiration for a household appliance again. I started the quest for a new vacuum, of course I knew it would be impossible to find such perfection again. Each year the new models get cheaper in parts while more expensive in price. After days of exhaustive searching... thinking perhaps I could find a remanufactured version of my old pal, I gave up. It was time to admit I had to buy something different. Still, my Navigator had been so wonderful, and I hadn't found anything on the market that seemed better so I ordered a newer model, and set my heart to disappointment. Certainly I would never find another who could make my heart pitter pat like that again! My new Shark arrived and I pulled it from the box. It was pretty, shiny, and a lovely color. I assembled the parts easily, hearing the click as each locked in place. It had a good weight to it, though I felt a bit like betraying a loved one as I tucked it into the closet... not yet ready to actually turn it on for a test run. The puppy took advantage of my distraction, as cable & internet providers came and went. The pup shredded anything he found tempting that had already been unpacked, including packing material. Little Styrofoam pieces and bits of a silk flower arrangement littered a bedroom floor. A calendar lying on top of a box would no longer adorn our wall. And fluffy bits of golden retriever dotted the carpet where he had rolled and played during his destructive frolic. I cleaned up what i could by hand and then instinctively reached in the closet for my Shark. It was not my dear, loyal soldier that heeded my call for assistance. No, there was a new soldier at the ready and it was time to see if it could handle the job. I plugged it in, and turned it on. The Shark came to life, illuminated with the power surging through it. With a light touch, the new machine moved as though floating over the floor, and followed my directions as though reading my mind. The shredded debris was instantly gone, nothing missed, no second pass needed. It was so efficient we were done before I knew it. I popped out the tank, emptied it and slipped it back in with ease. I rewrapped the cord and rolled the vacuum back to the closet. As I tucked it in to its spot I gave it a quick pat and whispered, "That'll do Shark. That'll do." It had done its duty well, with no hesitation or complaints. My old friend was laid to rest, and a new one had come to fill the hole in my heart & my closet. My dogs & cats fur would not be allowed to over run my home. I had a new champion that promised to fight the good fight. All that remains to be seen is how long it will last. A s we all lived happily ever after.

This Vacuum GROSSES ME OUT!
THIS VACCUM GROSSES ME OUT!!!! . . . POV: You thought your floor was clean until your Shark vacuum humbles you in one pass. This vacuum grosses me out in the best way possible! Every time I empty the canister, I’m horrified and DEEPLY SATISFIED!!! Like, that was living in my house?!??! The suction is strong enough to keep my house genuinely clean with a 6-year-old high-energy kid, a big hairy shedding dog, and a whole lot of real-life chaos. It pulls dirt, hair, crumbs, and mystery debris out of places I swear I already cleaned. It makes me feel like my home is actually under control instead of barely surviving. If you have kids, pets, or chaos—this thing earns its keep. I actually had a $600 Dyson… and I sold it when I found this girl. No regrets. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE PET HAIR!

***back in 2025 after 3 years of use to say the vacuum is still amazing , works as good as the day I got it, easy to clean the whole thing, including long hair and debris out of the roller and have had zero issues*** 2022 review: I waited until I used the vacuum for a couple of months before posting a review to see how the shark would hold up. I had a Dyson for 10 years and it finally broke - did my research to find an affordable strong vacuum that I could replace it with. I thought the Dyson was the best out there but WOW I was wrong, I wish I had this Shark to begin with! Super easy to assemble, it's not heavy and the cannister empties from both sides, the top half will catch large objects like Lego etc. which makes it so easy to clean out and recover accidentally sucked-up large items from! The self-powered head caught me off guard and it came right out to of my hand & went zoom lol! The vacuum itself is lightweight and easy to handle, especially if you're using the lift away feature Very impressed with the suction power - simply and thoughtfully engineered I love everything about it. Picks up pet hair you didn't know was even there (if this vacuum can handle husky floof it can handle anything lol) and it picks up my very long human hair easily too. The head is easy to take apart and clean (I have to do it every 4-5th time I vacuum which is gross but it shows how good this is picking hair up) My carpets look so good now and I am really happy with my purchase, I'm still shocked how much dust bunnies and dirt get into the carpet, especially after thinking my Dyson was getting it all The wand and main head have lights which is awesome I can see what I'm doing vacuuming in corners and see the dirt and crumbs and dust bunnies on my hardwood :) Only cons: I have many stairs in my house and it can be a little awkward managing the cannister + hose + cord but I'm getting used to it, wishing the cord was another 3-4 feet longer. My carpets are about 20 years old so the brush head bounces around in some high traffic areas where the carpet is matted down - I just slow vacuum and try not to go against the carpet 'grain' too much... Not the Shark's fault I should probably get my carpets cleaned or replaced ;)
