A Great Upgrade
Compared to my years old version, this Dell kicks it. It's fast, reliable, and the screen quality is great.

Extremely Disappointed – Sold a Refurbished Laptop as New
Extremely Disappointed – Sold a Refurbished Laptop as New I purchased a laptop directly from Dell, believing it was brand new. It arrived in perfect working order, but when I began setting it up, I was shocked to find someone else’s personal information already on the device. After investigating, I was appalled to learn that the laptop was actually refurbished. This led to a complete nightmare: canceling credit cards, changing every compromised password, and trying to erase all traces of my personal data from the system. I trusted Dell to deliver a secure, brand-new device, and that trust was completely broken. This experience was stressful, time-consuming, and unacceptable.

Excellent laptop, but check your charger included if not buying brand new
Love the speed, love the laptops condition, I love everything except that the wrong charger was sent; but that can happen with an open box/used product. So how do we get here at 3 stars? It’s really simple; the customer service. There’s probably a cable missing that Amazon did not see in its refurbishment process. This particular laptop only comes with only one USB-C outlet. The charger that came with this open box unit had only a USB-C tip. But the laptop itself has a primary charging port for the old-school barrel kind that Dell uses. All I can figure is the cable got lost by AMZN. When I contacted Amazon, they wanted me to just send everything back…. Not having a whole bunch of luck with the ‘send everything back’ scenario (from a couple of iPads that I returned that were not as advertised and I’m still not reimbursed yet) so I decided to keep the laptop and eat the cost of replacement charging hardware ($20-30 USD).

Freeze for 5-10 seconds on a lot of random requests, like when I open a folder, a browser, an app, a new webpage, a new YouTube video/page. It was like this out of the box, as I was setting it up. It was like this after I made a manufactured reset about one month in. It it like this after 280 days. Everything is always up to dates. Nothing shows anything's wrong with antiviruses (BitDefender Pro Full), Device Manager, "Dell's Detect Problem" page. Nothing's strange in task manager. Malware scans show nothing. Weekly cleanup changes nothing. Constant updates (Windows, Dell, Intel) doesn't help. My Internet speed is over 400, the computer is always plugged, I give it a fresh restart once or twice a week (or as soon as I apply updates). I don't know if I received an already bad/broken one, but after 9 months of trying to fix issues with this computer, I've come to realize that it's probably just the computer itself. The Bluetooth is also a big issue. More than half the time, when I connect a device, let's say headphones, I see in the settings from the Windows Bar that it is connected (name of the device under the Bluetooth icon), but when I open the detailed setting, it is not. I've try almost a dozen of different Bluetooth devices, and they all have the same "half-the-time-does-not-really-connect-even-when-it-says-that-it-is" problem. They always work fine and right away when I connect those devices to my cellphone or other devices. I also had to troubleshoot a few things on my own, like the jack input for headphone didn't detect anything out of the box. There was other stuff as well, I just don't remember right now. I do give it a 3 stars as the rest is peachy. For the price, without those issues it would probably be a top-tier-mid-range computer.
