Wolfgang Puck Organic Classic Minestrone Soup, 14.5 oz. Can

Of course, it's a plus that this soup is organic, and the vegetables and beans look well-chosen, but the taste itself is on the bland side, and there is a very liberal amount of salt.

I used to eat this soup for breakfast almost everyday in high school (when I wasn't eating this I was eating a hungry-man T.V. dinner.)Do most people look at this soup and think breakfast time? Nope. But they're ignorant.It used to be in a red can so I wasn't sure if I was buying the correct kind.But, my craving was intense for this soup. So much so that I had to order this whole flat of cans.And it seems to be the same delicious soup now as it was back then.This is real Minestrone soup! With a capital "MINE."I told my friend about this soup and his mom was pissed at me because now this is all he would eat in the way of soups (and it isn't exactly cheap as far as soup goes.)It is worth every cent.Thank you Mr. Puck.

This stuff is so hard to find that when it showed up again in Amazon I jumped. I'm sure it will be out of stock again soon but we're set for awhile.

This is the only canned soup I like. It doesn't taste like it came out of a can! I like to add a can of beans to it, some greens (fresh spinach), and sometimes frozen peas or frozen mixed veggies. This makes it a hearty meal while still keeping blood sugar from spiking. It's also wonderful just the way it is, with nothing added.

A great soup. Too much sodium, but they (soup manufacturers) all go crazy and put way too much in, and I suppose that is what people must want, but it makes more sense to put in less and let people add more, as needed. Still, it has less sodium than many others. Great over rice or spaghetti. Nicely balanced ingredients and flavor for a factory-produced canned soup.

Love the soup.......but half the cans were dented----and not from shipping. It looks like they were put in the case like that. Poor quality control standards : (

The soup itself is really good. One of our favorites, especially if you add a bit of leftover baked chicken to it. Unable to find it in Safeway/Kroger stores anymore we thought to get it from Amazon. Thinking maybe Puck did not make/distribute it anymore so buy it here. Unfortunately this is not the label we got. The shipping was fine - but every can was really dented, some as large as a finger. Some of the top of cans were crushed, some bottom, side seams dented. Not good. I would never have bought these in the store, and was VERY disappointed to have the two cases arrive with only one can undamaged. I thought well, maybe give them to a shelter. But if I thought it unsafe to eat then I couldn't them give to a shelter could I?
