I purchased this promise box for my mother. She has a Bread of Life promise loaf with the colored cards but her eyesight is not what it used to be and she can't read them anymore. I looked on eBay and Amazon and they both have this little box but I believe Amazon is a little cheaper. The box comes wrapped in cellophane and inside a nice cardboard box that's wrapped in cellophane. The prayer box is clear acrylic with the bible molded onto the lid of the box and the words, Gods Word with little stars underneath the words. The acrylic is quite thick and the lid is hinged and stays open when opened and closed when closed. As the description says, there are a 140 white cards in the box, the dimensions are in the description. They are large for promise cards and the text is large as well. My moms vision is quite bad and she can read them. On one side of the cards is KJV scripture and on the other side is prayers. I gave the box to my mom so I don't know how the prayers are. I'd rather have scripture on both sides of the cards. The box is made in China, of course but it's decent quality for what it is. Sadly, the new Bread of Life loaf boxes, like those I remember in the 70's, are now tiny and cheaply made. I recommend this box to anyone looking for one especially for someone with diminishing eyesight.

I bought several of these to give friends and family members at Christmas. The plastic “crystal” container is very well made, and the cards are nicely printed. Everyone loved them and several commented that of all the gifts they received for Christmas, this was one of their most cherished of all. I bought an extra one for myself, but when I saw how much everyone loved them, I couldn’t bare keeping it. I ended up gifting it to someone else to spread God’s love just a litter farther. Glad I did, because she was going through a lot that no one knew about.

I use these with my prayer group. They are nice.

I sent this as a gift and they loved it. The cards have scripture on one side and a prayer on the other, all in a simple, sleek, clear box. You can set it almost anywhere and its easy access. I bought one for myself too and they are wonderful to read. Very uplifting, Gods word on these little cards. This box is full of blessings.

This is a God’s Word promise box that consists of scripture and prayers. Similar products I have purchased in the past have been more of a combination of scripture and quotes. In that respect I would rather have a prayer than a random quote as you don’t want to get the two mix up (scripture and a quote). Now, not anything against this product, I would have preferred NIV version compared to KJ version. These are about the size of a business card, all white with black text. Text is readable, not small. The cards come in a durable clear plastic storage box. Personally, I prefer to focus on the scripture references and pray on those promises specifically. There is power in God's Word and we should meditate and pray on God's Word specifically and when we do it causes God to act as it is His Promises. These cards have a Bible Verse on one side and a prayer on the other side. The prayers do reference “Father”, in the beginning but the prayer doesn’t end with “In Jesus Name, Amen.” There is no closing to the prayer itself. The prayers do correlate with the Bible Verse on the reverse side.

These were a part of a holy communion present for my nieces. I bought them a few things however all three of them absolutely loved these more than any of the other presents. They read one every morning.
