Really nice product that eliminates the company programmed acceleration delay that supports the stabilization system. Less noticeable on sport mode setting, but well worth it for one desiring immediate throttle input.

This most definitely is one of those must have upgrades if you have any Mini Cooper whatsoever with an electric gas pedal. I thought this would not make any difference and the claims were ridiculous. It took me all of 3 minutes to install after looking up the installation on YouTube. The claim that it fits is spot on. It’s just plug and play. I have a Countryman All4 JSW. This addition makes it even more exciting. I tried all of the settings from ECO, CITY, SPORT, SPORT+. I am letting you know City is where you need to be for DAILY DRIVING. Warning: SPORT or SPORT+ is used if you really want to have fun an accelerate like the electric cars. It made all four of my tires spin and launch the car like a jack rabbit. It’s crazy exciting. Be careful in these modes.

This was cool and fun for a little while but the other day I got an error of throttle position from it, two days before my inspection. I had to use bimmer link to clear the error so my car would run properly again but that delayed my inspection with the state as no CEL can be present and all monitors must be ready. Update - Tried to use again after a month of no errors and about 2000 miles (I drive 90 miles a day for my commute) so I turned Pedal Commander back on and the error came back within 400 miles and the car went into reduced power mode. I have since reset my car and removed Pedal Commander. It won't work for me and unfortunately it's outside the return window. I contacted Pedal Commander directly and their customer support has been very insufficient. Save your money and go for a pro tune with a reputable shop.

The only reason I did not four star this product is because after a few months some thing happened with it. My car suddenly lost its power like the throttle wouldn't respond and I had some engine lights turn on. When I brought the car to the Mini Dealer they took off the pedal commander and my car was back to normal. On the POSITIVE NOTE: The product does exactly as advertised. The throttle response was amazing! It was like having a sport tuned car. I have a Mini Cooper Sport Hard Top 2 Door and the pedal turned a car that is already quick into a Porsche competitor. I could keep up with most anything coming off a dead stop at a light. I highly recommend this product even though it gave me trouble and I had to uninstall it. I am asking Pedal Commander for an exchange on the product I bought from them for a new one. I have received nothing from Pedal Commander for endorsing the product. It is just a great, well priced, no thinking needed, add on for sport tuning your ride.

It's been in 2 weeks now with no issues. Operates as advertised. I will probably never touch sport + ludacris speed, but low sport and high city makes me feel like I can actually shift this Mini! Running it in a 2011 Countyman All4 S.

I was a little skeptical at first since it is a $300 upgrade, but trust me it is WORTH it for a NA R50 mini. My mini has a K&N typhoon cold air intake, Borla Exhaust, MSD ignition coil, MSD spark plug wire set, NGK Iridium spark plugs and now pedal commander on the pedal. Easy to install, like 10mins. I would look up videos on youtube first to get an idea how to remove a BMW/MINI pedal. I drive it around in SPORT +3 simply because my car is limited in the power it can produce. There is a noticeable difference with every level. The best way tell the difference is to keep the pedal pressed (small amount) and switch up the levels to notice the changes and find the right fit for you and your commute's traffic.

Non avevo mai sentito parlare di questo prodotto, incuriosito l' ho comprato e lo sto usando su mini R56 1,6122cv....che dire lo ricomprerei...da cio che promette e in più usi l'app e il congegno e' nascosto sotto cruscotto

Es un producto realmente sorprendente,fácil de instalar en mi vehículo. Es realmente efectivo y corresponde con lo que ofrece el fabricante. Enchufar y en marcha. Una pena que en su cartera de modelos no tengan mas marcas de vehículos europeos. Lo compraría para otros modelos.

As you know, Mini’s have a ridiculous throttle lag. It’s a shame as they’re lovely cars. So… after a lot of research and very limited funds I staggered across a Utube video where someone had installed a ‘Pedal Commander’ in a Mini Cooper. For £189 I thought ‘what the hell!!’ And bought one. The seller contacted me to advise there might be a customs tax levied on this item, as it was shipped from Germany, but it arrived sooner than expected and with no import duty. On a Mini Cooper R56 you only have one bolt to remove to release the accelerator pedal (5mm Allen key) then unclip the plug and fit the Pedal Commander between the two sockets. It took me 5 minutes! The unit , once the ignition was on, defaulted to City Mode so I left it at that and took the Mini for a spin……….OMG!!!! The difference in the throttle response was staggering! …so I tried it in all the 4 modes ( and 8 sub modes ) I’ve never ‘wheel spun’ in reverse before 😱 this is the Best and cheapest mod for any fly by wire car you could buy!!! Buy one now!!!!!!!! Hope this was helpful….. yours sincerely a new Mini owner.
