Not nearly as sturdy as I was expecting. It can pick up small things like bacon strips or used to stir things but it cannot handle anything heavy like advertised.

Works just fine, esp for Teflon surfaces. The spring action feels loose, but you get what you pay for, and this set was very inexpensive.

Recently, since retiring, I find I am enjoying cooking. I lack some of the utensils, and am building the essentials. These tongs are just the right size, and they grip the food items just enough to turn or remove from heat.

Love this set! I really like that all you have to do is slide the knob part and they lock in place.

they won't stay locked. they work well as tongs but one pops open in my utensil holder and the other in the drawer. sigh!

The silicon ends are too soft. Not good for grabbing food of any weight, like a hamburger in a pan.

The tongs do work well, but I tried to pick up a medium size piece of meat and it bent the bigger tong. It's okay for the price.

I like the both sizes these come in. It's great to use on all my cook wear without worrying about scratching them.
