I'm really impressed with these and absolutely love having SRVs songs in tab form at my fingertips. I plan to buy the one for each album.I do wonder how they make these, are they computer generated? Does some poor guitar guru sap have to listen over and over and very carefully transcribe what Stevie is doing on the recording?However they do it, I find them fairly easy to follow and best of all: COMPLETE.

This is a great tab book but I have been working on Lenny and one of the main chords used in Lenny is different from the way Stevie played it on The El Macombo concert. This is a great book to learn from. I requires dedication to want to complete a song especially an entire album like The GREAT TEXAS FLOOD, which is my goal. I wish everyone well in there effort to master this masterpiece. This book is pure tab with some interesting black and white pictures of Stevie mixed in.

I purchased this as a gift for my son, the family's musician. He was wanting to get away from rock and branch out into other music genre. Buying the guitar recorded version is the only way to go, according to him. Songs are easier to learn when you can actually play along with the artist.

GREAT book for all SRV guitar players. Very challenging (that cat could play) yet rewarding... these tabs and notation are dead on with the recorded versions. Worth every penny.
