Nice looking kettle, but after 12 months all the paint flakes off where the two different materials meet and it looks terrible. For over £100 this is really poor quality. Rangemaster warranty no use, they say it is wear and tear which is ridiculous for a cosmetic part of the appliance that is not damaged. Bit of a rip off really.

Sturdy, quite heavy but well balanced, looks great, easy to pour with a smooth flow, very quiet only really makes a noise in the last 15 seconds or so and even that is quiet

I'm not overly impressed with the kettle, other than it matching my range cooker brand. You're paying for the brand and not the features. It has basic features like boil dry protection and lime scale filter, but you get these from a £20 kettle. I paid £88.88 with 26% reduction as it was originally £119 and so I would expect more. Things I would have expected for the price is a temperature control/gauge, and the water level indicator to light up so you can see what level of water is in the kettle. However this kettle has neither, only the on/off switch lights up when switched on. It is a large and solid kettle and looks nice, although quite heavy, so I would imagine it to be difficult to handle if you have hand mobility issues. All of that being said, it does look nice but definitely overpriced in my opinion.
