Hypertech742501 Speedometer Calibrator

I received a new programmer. no major problems. I had to update the software with my pc. Corrected my speedo to compensate for the oversize tires,It took several attempts to get the correct tire size setting to make the speedo 100% accurate but it was not difficult.

works good but actual size of tire and reprogramer size don't match up. I used gps and tinkered got it after a few tries.

Bought this as an unmarried used item in original packaging. First, it arrived in a plastic bag with no original packaging. Second, it’s married to another vehicle. I called Hypertech and it would cost me an additional $135 for them to unmarry it. It’s worthless as it is. Amazon is refunding my money but I waited a week for this and now have to purchase another. Do not buy this item.

I needed to change my differential gear ration in my 07 Mustang GT (Only Mod), this device allowed me to change my differential so my speedometer worked properly. Note there are limitations to the differentials compatible with this device for the Mustang. I don't recall it having the capability to run a taller gear (like a 2:73). I only remember the 3:31, 3:55, 3:73 and maybe the 4:11 gears being listed as options for the 07.
