Dodgeball is not really a thing done in Australia and it should be. If it is played in schools it is done with volleyballs or basketballs..... These should be available at schools. They are exactly what they should be. Great purchase if you want to play dodgeball. Pump up to about 13 psi.

I think I got the idea to use these as a party favor from someone else's review on here. But wow, what a great idea that was! My 8 year old son had a birthday party at an indoor gym in the Seattle area. I was considering making up standard goodie bags for the 23 children who attended. I didn't want to give the typical little toys that break within 2 minutes and then end up in the landfill or fill a bag with a bunch of sugary candy. These balls were my answer! I received them so quickly after placing my order for 4 sets. Awesome speedy delivery! The balls come flat so you must take some time to pump up each ball but it literally took a few minutes to pump each one. Then I took a big black Sharpie marker and I put my son's name, 8th birthday party and then the date and also wrote "thank you for coming!" on each ball. After the fun ended at the indoor gym and the party was about to end, I gave each guest a ball to take home. The children were thrilled. It's been 2 months and we still have a few balls at home that my kids play with regularly! I have 3 boys and they play HARD and these balls have held up wonderfully. The writing is still clearly seen on each ball too. I will admit that one of our balls is kind of slightly not round anymore but I think it's because my kids sit and stand on them while watching tv. These balls are a great buy when you purchase in bulk like this. I'm telling you, give these as a party favor! Your guests will love them!

The ball comes deflated, as the description says. So having a pump to inflate the ball is essential. Overpumping and leaving it outside in the cold seems to make the ball warp in shape, and it no longer stay round. This cannot be fixed once the warping has happened. But the price is can't be beat! And if taken care of well, this ball is great for teaching young kids to dribble or pass, as it is soft and easy on small hands.
