Fresh Monster 2-in-1 Natural Shampoo & Body Wash for Kids, Toxin-Free, Hypoallergenic, Ocean Splash (2 Pack, 8.5oz/each)

Father in charge of bath duty for a 2.5 year boy old here…I’ve been hunting out a good, safe brand of soap for my kiddo for quite some time. I’d done research about how most affordable, big brand soaps have synthetic fragrances, sulfates, parabens and oodles of other ingredients – some of which have been tied to health issues, some of which still have the jury out on their risks. Then I tested sevreral more natural versions of kid/baby soap. I’ve tried so many different kinds including Aveeno, Honest Company, Earth Mama, Burt’s Bees, Shea Moisture (which I also like), etc. Most were fine, though the prices weren’t great. When I was finally introduced to Fresh Monster and used it, it took the top spot. We bought the “Ocean Splash Shampoo & Body Wash”. What’s great is that it’s priced like the big brands containing scary stuff, but is as natural (or better) than the more expensive natural brands I was using. On top of that, it smells great. Definitely not perfume-y, but a nice, subtle, clean and natural scent. I love the funky, kid-appealing packaging. Kiddo loves the monster on it (which I just realized is a monster with a fishbowl on his head, not a monster in an astronaut suit, which makes sense). It’s great stuff, I will continue to have it as my go-to soap for the kiddo. The wife and I also tested it on ourselves before we used it on him, and enjoyed it. It’s very effective. Worth noting is that they have a few Shampoo+Conditioner options, then this Shampoo+Body Wash product that we bought. So we do have to use a separate conditioner/detangler for his hair in addition to the Fresh Monster “Ocean Splash” product.

Smells like sunscreen but I don’t mind it and neither does my son. It does the job for what it is and actually helped soothe his eczema after a few washes with it. It moisturized his skin and his hair feels soft too. I would recommend this product.

I wanted to buy my son a shampoo and wash in one that was non toxic but that had good lather and a light smell. I decided to give fresh monster a try a few months and go and I am so happy I did. I love the light watermelon smell and it suds well. It doesn’t say it’s tear free, however my son has not complained about it burning or anything when it lands in his eyes. Which it does often. It’s on the thinner side but that ok with me. I just wish they would sell larger bottles.

So cute images and the thought of a fresh ocean breeze scent splashing at my senses I bought it. I was excited like it was for me l o l package finally arrives , I tear open the box, trying to quickly tear off the wrapping that was tough to get threw. I twist off the cap another seal , I'm there , ahhh as I bring bottle to my nose. Nope shattered by smells of awful nothing , old product disgusting. The bottle was clean moisture level slimy softness well umm works well in the trash.

Smells like yummy watermelon candy! My 2 year old doesn’t pay attention to his type of soap for bath time but as a mom I like that the scent isn’t too strong and that the ingredients are good. Even after a big day of playing in the dirt it hey him clean quick. It makes nice bubbles that last the duration of the bath.

This soap smells wonderful, lathers nicely. It says hypoallergenic, but it made my little guy's skin so itchy and no amount of moisturizing after made it any better. And he doesn't really have super sensitive skin. Will use the rest just as shampoo, but unfortunately, I won't buy it again.

I was excited to try this gentle cleansing option on the kids. It's plant based, parades free, and cruelty free (all big ones for me since I've worked in the beauty cosmetics industry and am aware of all the "cr*p" that can be put into products). The body wash/ shampoo is super gentle on my kids 2 yrs. and 4 yrs old. They have somewhat sensitive skin and this game ever them zero problems. It's actually really soft and foamy. The smell is amazing in Ocean splash. Clean but not overpowering. To my surprise a few weeks after ordering I got a nice letter from the business owners! I didn't realize it was a small company started up by two moms, but wow they sent me a letter thanking me for supporting their business and asking me to let them know what I thought about the product. Blown away! I will keep using this line for sure and do highly recommend it. It works and it comes from a good place!

This is great for kids with sensitive skin. There is no heavy scent, the ingredients are incredible. 98/100 score on OnSkin. So I feel confident using such clean ingredients on them.

My 5 year old tells me it smells yucky when I wash his hair, I have to agree. Accidentally ordered this scent instead of our usual watermelon, a mistake I’ll carefully avoid in future. Does the job though.
