FBM-X1: What You Need To Know
It's inexpensive and it has USB 3.0 ports and includes 2 fans however there are a few caveats:1. Cooling. It would appear that the front fascia grill of the case has perforations for air to flow through and, if it did, the cooling would be excellent. But no, all intake air is directed through a small port in the bottom of the fascia which is only a 1/4" above the surface. Internally there are also large openings above and to the side of the front 120mm fan (air will go around and take the path of least resistance) essentially rendering it useless. Both included fans are quiet but low wattage, low airflow fans. I drilled holes in the bottom grill area, opened up the intake port, put taller feet under the case, put two 1.5" holes in the window by the CPU heatsink and used cardboard to create some ducting to force the front fan to draw from the intake. If you are going to use this for a gaming rig I would also swap the rear 80mm fan to something more powerful and, with all these mods, you should get adequate cooling then.2. Build quality. The metal is finished nicely but very thin so you can't handle the case roughly at all. The front fascia just popped off accidentally while I was installing components and also 2 out of 6 of the motherboard stand-offs were already stripped in the base. Guess to be expected at this price.3. ??. The USB 3.0, switches and LED cables supplied are long... crazy long. Not really a complaint but just a pain to get all the cables tidied up. Some cases have an access hole under the MB processor area so you can take the other panel off and access underneath the cooler mounts, this one does not just FYI.Overall not too bad for the price if you're willing to put in some effort to make it work. Also not sure why people are complaining about drive spaces as there are plenty.

get what you pay for
The FBM-01 case is pretty great for $25. It's even cheaper now. Of course it is. Anyway, I modded the case a little (and made it non-returnable but it's cheapness permits experimentation) by cutting out/drilling some ventilation in the front panel with a Dremel tool and adding a screen mesh to the front fan ( 120mm PVC Black PC Cooler Fan Dust Filter Pack of 10 ). My only complaint with it is the pesky non-removable HD holders. You have to remove the motherboard if you want to access to the HD's. Either that or remove the processor cooler which is way more trouble than it's worth. But what should I expect for $25? It's definitely not a "mini tower" as it has a lot of more space than one of those. What else costs as much? A good dinner, a half tank of gas etc. This thing will outlive all of those and provide hours and hours of productive distraction. Just don't try to eat it.

Absolutely terrible
Truly the worst case I have ever used. I wasn't expecting much at this price point. However, this was for a media PC that would be hidden away at the back of the TV cabinet. It didn't have to look nice. It didn't have to be rugged. It's only mission was to hold some basic components in place and out of site. It failed so miserably that I (literally) hurled it down the yard in frustration. Firstly, you expect cases at this price to be on the flimsy side. This one is beyond flimsy. Imagine wet toilet paper sprayed black. At first I thought I had been sent an empty box because it weighed next to nothing. Secondly, it doesn't really have drive bays. It has some random spots to mount drives, including a strange swing door thing. I only had two hard drives, and it was impossible to have them both mounted and be able to plug them in. You don't expect much room in a micro ATX mini tower, sure, buit this was ridiculous. I don't even have a video card as I use the AMD Radeon built-in, and even without that I could not seem to make my basic system fit. I have used many cheap micro ATX cases before, but this was by far the worst of the bunch. I didn't even care to send it back - it was worth the $30 just for the satisfaction of throwing it as far as I could down the back yard. And for the record, it didn't go very far....it just sort of floated around like a leaf in the breeze. Do NOT buy this case!

Tight fit, right price.
I enjoy building computers. Recently, I've enjoyed tinkering with HTPCs.Bought this until I can afford a low profile GPU and can go back to my old mATX case.Let me tell you, this thing is small. I had a plan of attack for fitting stuff in here, and by other's recommendations to put the drives in first.Long story short, I spent way too much time putting it together and taking it apart because of obstruction or weird cable management. Not sure how much my inexperience pays a part in this. One thing that was actually not good is, you have to be really careful and exact with the riser screw, because they'll catch and **** everything up- you'll have to undo the screws and take the Mobo out to unbind them, which is a real pit.Another point- the model I got just has the front intake gap on the bottom. Another user drilled holes for ventilation on that bottom panel, and after my temp test this evening, I'll be doing the same. It's a cheap case and good for a budget. It's also one of the smaller mATX cases I've come across while still keeping a full GPU without getting into the Silverstone 80-120$ territory.

Great Budget Case
This case if perfect for a budget sub £500 build where every penny counts. At just £25.99, the SRM-01 looks nice and sleek without spending too much money. The aesthetic is clean and modern, while the build quality feels a little plastic to me, but for the price, this case looks great. The case has a top mount PSU area with room for up to an Micro ATX motherboard. The case has good airflow too, but the position of the GPU (At the very bottom) means that some blower style GPUs that pump out heat may struggle for air. Cable management is left down to a few rivets dotted about the case, with a sub 1cm gap behind the motherboard. I would love to see some more rivets and possibly a deeper gap behind the motherboard. The design of the HDD and SSD mounting system is rather odd however - A swing out door from within the case acts as a mounting bracket which at times is fiddly to use properly. Also, if you mount a HDD on the bottom of the two mounting spots closest to the GPU, you wont be able to install a long or tall GPU. I have had to mount my HDD to the top mounting spot and stick my SSD to the side with some velcro. Not ideal.Luckily, the GPUs I have used in this case all fit due to their small length of about 17cm. Be careful when you buy a GPU and ensure that it will fit in the case. Longer GPUs will fit, but only if their height is small enough to lie underneath the HDD door when closed. (See image). When I have built in this case, I often felt as though I was cramming everything into the case, but at the end of the build everything was firmly attached and well organised. But really, If you are buying a system which is £500+ I would totally recommend buying a higher end case - after all the case is were all the components are held and it is what you will see every time you use the PC. This case is perfect for someone who needs to scrimp every penny and doesn't mind working harder to make everything fit. But the moment your build exceeds £500, then I would recommend the NZXT S340 - at double the price its certainly not a budget case, but it ticks every box when it comes to airflow, compatibility and aesthetic.-----PROS------ Clean Aesthetic- Small Form Factor- Super Budget Price- Perfect case for Sub £500----CONS----- Must check compatibility for GPU height and length- Bendy Plastic in some areas- Airflow is limited for larger GPUs- Strange and sometimes awkward HDD bracket----IMPROVEMENTS----- A dedicated HDD tray area- More GPU clearance- Less PlasticTo Conclude, this case is excellent for the price, but bear in mind that you always get what you pay for meaning this case is not suitable for higher end builds with larger GPUs and more 'stuff'. If you count your pennies like myself then we have a winner. I would recommend it.BUT, If you can afford a better case, then buy a better case. If that makes any sense... NZXT S340

It’s just barely 4 stars
Careful with some of the other reviews on this particular product: at the least the one with photos has the wrong case. I will post photos shortly. The case I ordered was the SRM-01 for $30 - shipping was fast and painless. Arrived in good shape and well packed. The first thing that strikes you is how light this case is: it’s just shy of 6 pounds and feels like it. The metal is very thin, the thinnest I’ve seen in 20 years of PC building (back when they used to call them “clones”). The case is painted metal (well) and a plastic front which also has a decent look to it but also hints strongly at being light and fragile. This is not a case you want to subject to much abuse. Update (nov 27 2017): the metal bends very easily and requires some care when assembling and dissembling. For example, at the rear of the side panel is a “lock ring” where you’d put a small lock to prevent opening of the case. While none of these lock styles are really that secure, this is particularly so - the metal is so thin I suspect if you did use a small lock the lock itself could be used to repeatedly bend the ring to bend it off.I was surprised to find a decent and almost slick little manual included. It’s 10 pages long or so and it was a nice touch. The case is thoughtfully designed with usb 2 & 3 ports (just 1 USB 3) and audio jacks for mic and headphones. The buttons feel decent. It has thumb screws on the back and included is a small case fan, facing the rear. At the bottom of the case is a dust filter on the opening.First flaw, however, is that the from grill behind the plastic front doesn’t have any dust filter at all.The interior is decent and it has an interesting 3.5/2.5 hard drive “panel” that pivots out so you can not only mount 2 drives but make room for you to install a longer video card - it’s a clever design. It has 5.25” slots for DVD drive but just one opening. The PSU (not included) mounts at the top.Update (nov 27 2017): see the photos. The side panel that pivots only supports 1 3.5” drive which is disappointing since at first blush it looks like it would support two.Overall, for $30, this is a decent case. It’s not “great” but if you’re looking to save some bucks, don’t care about fancy pants designs or just intend to keep this somewhere else where it’s not likely to be messed with physically (like for a Plex server in a back room) this is a reasonable choice.Update (nov 27 2017): I’m still giving it 4 stars because I can’t give half stars and because it’s $30 and because it works as a basic case that looks decent and would need only minor adjustments to earn back that half star to make it a solid 4. IMO you have to measure performance in reference to cost - in other words, value. That’s how I see the star system of Amazon: a measure of value. So, overall, 3.5 stars.

It works as a case
Cheap and (if it was a sentient being) cheerful. I replaced the supplied fan with something bigger and quieter. People talk about flimsy. What do they do? Use it as a step?

Nice looking case with one vast problem
Nice looking case with one vast problem, the heat from the provided power supply is exhausted into the case which in turn overheats everything else, well made solid case but requires a lot of modding to be viable.
