We bought this to deal with a clog in a bathroom sink where the trap had been installed improperly. I was able to get a few rubber bands and a few gross clumps of "stuff" out with it. In other words it saved us the expense of calling a plumber to cut out the trap and install a new one. It's nothing fancy but it does the job well.

Thanks to that I managed to get some things out of the sink. Works great

The media could not be loaded. So I wanted a shorter one for my kitchen sink. There are really long ones, but wanted a short one, was very happy to find a shorter one. Overall is pretty good, the (red) plastic is not super great, not sure if will break or not. The only issue is that the thing is pretty much always bent due to the shipping. I hung it and pressed stuff on it, but after all attempts could not get it fully straightened out, so always bent, but still overall good.

I had dryer lint that I could not get out and don't use metal hangers at all so I could not use one to try to catch the lint. This is perfect for getting the lint that escapes from the lint trap and manages to be near impossible to reach. I read another review and feel that I should suggest those that want to put this in the toilet, don't. I think it may damage the porcelain bowl. I purchased a toilet auger, commonly referred to as a snake. This things are awesome. Buy a tool designed to be used for the task and you will not be be disappointed.

Had the item laying around for a few weeks before I gave it a shot. It failed on its very first use as I tried to fish a 16 AWG cable through a grommet. The 2 thin pieces of metal that make up the 'claw' were pulled out of the tool entirely -- rendering it 100% useless as a grabber.The whole purpose of this item was to fish it through tight places so I can "grab" something on the other side. Just makes sure it has NO RESISTANCE on the path back, or else it'll break for sure. I highly doubt anybody just uses this as a simple grabber. This item is complete garbage.No support on their product either. Not surprised since it's a shady 3rd party and the price of the item was only $8. I won't be wasting any cash on this junk again. I'll provide a picture next time I'm in the shop. I left that garbage on the workbench in pieces away from all the tools that actually FUNCTION.

It works ok I wouldn't say it is a game changer for unclogging a drain. Nice extra tool to have in your plumbing kit.

My drain hole was too small for this or anything else, however, it was not a complete loss because it's fantastic for cleaning my vacuum hose that got clogged! I've never seen a drain hole as small as ours so it will probably be perfect for most. I'd definetly purchase it again if it broke however I don't think I'll have to as its very well made!

I bought this in a last ditch effort to get a sock out of my vacuum hose. I didn’t have much hope for it due to the other reviews saying that it wasn’t very strong. I am AMAZED at how incredible this thing is. The sock was wedged in the hose so tight that it was causing the hose to bulge and separate, had it been pushed any further it likely would have tore the hose. Only option was trying to pull it out, and sure enough, within minutes the sock was out! Being super excited about my brand new favorite toy, I went and unclogged my bathroom sink which has been giving me problems for months on end despite my efforts to clear it. SINK CLEARED WITHIN MOMENTS!! I pulled probably a whole head worth of hair out of it, and I am absolutely baffled. If you need something inexpensive and flexible to unclog your life, THIS. IS. IT!
