Collapsible Grip & Stand for Phones and Tablets - Palm Trees

I've tried all kinds of products in order to mount my phone in my car for hands-free maps/directions. Living in Arizona killed my auction mount (attached to my windshield). I bought a Magnet Mount advertised on IG & it was a piece of junk. The magnet(s) are not strong enough to use, even without a case, esp if your phone is larger than a small iPhone 6s. My phone kept flipping and falling. After trying several more products, I gave up & just propped my phone in the odometer area of my car. But my new car doesn't have anywhere flat where I can lay, prop, or otherwise display my screen for a hands-free experience. So I needed to find something that would work... and last in the AZ heat! I was more than apprehensive when I heard about Pop Sockets & the air vent mount accessory, but they came highly recommended so I decided to give it a try. I was so jaded that I didn't even attach it right away... who wants to rush into disappointment? Yeah, me neither. So I didn't put my Pop Socket on my phone until yesterday. I placed it in the lower 1/3 because I have small hands. On a smaller phone, it will stabilize the phone so you can watch videos easily. It makes it easier to text without fumbling around. And I tested it out with the air vent mount while driving around & it didn't flip or fall at all! I even went over speed bumps and turned corners a little fast to see if it would really stay. It did. I'm not disappointed at all... only wish I'd started using it sooner!

The design itself comes just as cute as it looks on the site and it’s astounding for its purpose for adding a better grip to your phone BUT the main selling point here is it’s amazing longevity. Granted, I’ve only had it for four months, but me and this little thing have gone through a LOT. I’ve removed this single pop socket from my first case and reattached it to at LEAST 4 different cases, while it still maintained the same amount of adhesivity. I can hold the phone by the pop socket and shake it like CRAZY and it will still remain strong. Another thing is that I’d suggest gluing the plastic disc with the design to the collapsible part with super glue, just to ensure maximum utility! EDIT: still doing great !! I’ve added clear nail polish on the design just to further protect the design. 2019 EDIT: it’s been about a year/16 months and it’s still holding on strong. Quality CANNOT be beat!!

I love Popsockets. Males holding my phone much easier and saves clumsy me of dropping the phone to the ground, or on my face when I'm perusing the internet. I loved this flowery ensemble for my white phone to make a contrast. It's lived a good life, it's been a year already and you can see the before and after on the pictures. I like the longevity of it. I haven't been the most careful owner so it's held up very good in it's lifetime. I only wish the company would sell the pop by itself so it would be easily interchangeable to what suits my mood instead of having to buy a full popsocket every time.

The “pop” part of the pop socket popped out of the hole in the adhesive plastic base part of the device within less than a month of having it. I had my phone in a side pocket of my purse, went to grab it, and while pulling it out of the pocket, the entire collapsible portion popped off of the plastic base. Other than that, I absolutely love the colors and design of this. It’s been nothing but helpful for me since I have smaller hands and it barely added any kind of obstruction to getting my phone in and out of my pockets or purse until the other day. It collapses fully, unlike some other knockoff pop sockets. I’ve already been sent a replacement, but am hoping this one is more durable and that the original pop socket device I received was just a fluke thing and this isn’t a design flaw. Took off a star for how easily it popped out and came apart. The device itself does what it says it will do and came exactly as described both times.

If you've seen your coworkers or classmates with these strange devices stuck to the backs of their phones and thought maybe it was a gimmick, I'd be inclined to persuade you to try a PopSocket. If you're like me and tend to drop your phone about once per week, this product is a must! Other than making your phone drop-proof, it actually enables you to more precisely handle your phone and much more comfortably as well. You can use your device confidently with one hand without cramping and without dropping your phone. It also works as a kick-stand to prop your device up. The newer PopSockets also have a removable cover so you can get new designs and change them out. They remind me of POGs for some reason! Highly recommended.

I really like the idea of PopSocket. I use an LG Stylo 4, which is comparable in size to a Samsung Note. I find an assisted-grip device helps greatly in using the large phone with one hand. The PopSocket comes in a lot of cool patterns and colors, and I like the way you can change which fingers to slide it between. But the adhesive is just so weak! The company advertises the weak adhesive as a bonus that allows you to move/relocate the item, but I really think that this is just a marketing strategy for the poor adhesive it used. I had it come unstuck, multiple times, while using my phone. Luckily I was sitting down, otherwise it could have caused serious damage to an expensive device. I also found that, even when collapsed, the PopSocket adds too much bulk for the phone to be in my pocket. I didn't bother to return my PopSocket; instead, I just bought a different product called a LoveHandle. I enjoyed the latter much better.

Absolutely loving this popsocket!! Although the one I wanted was on the pricy side, this one was relatively cheap. I stuck it on my phone's case that has a sandy texture but smoother and it hasn't come off yet, so definitely very good for people who always use phone cases. It's pretty sturdy for rough usages.

Excelente producto. 100 % recomendable. El pegamento dura MUCHO tiempo. Tengo 2 años con el y nunca se me ha despegado.

Excelente relación calidad/precio. Ojo en que debido al “pegamento “ no es fácil quitarlo del equipo (en caso de usarlo sin funda) o de la funda, por lo que se usaría solo con esa.
