What's the best way to wash the brace?

Information that came with the brace said to hand wash and dry flat. Also says not to machine wash; not to wring nor bleach nor use fabric softener. Says not to dry clean. I haven’t had to wash mine yet. So- as I think about it for when the need arises: I would suggest hand washing and then placing in a towel and carefully rolling with the towel, gently squeezing to get most of the water out/off, and then let line dry.

Are these for left or right knees? I don't see any description in the product information.
