I suffer with arthritis in my shoulders and keeping myself clean has become very hard as I get older. This aid is perfect! It is a good design and very sturdy. Do not go for cheaper models, I made that mistake and ended up sending it back because the spring got stuck. This model is a much better design unlike other types.

best on market, pity it does not last very long, wears out very quickly, i suppose that is why it is fairly cheap, would willingly pay a little more for better quality.

Works well once you've worked out the best way to fold the toilet paper. I've bought these several times over the past few years (when they were about £25) and am pleased but I only expect about a year from them before the mechanism breaks inside. The internal catch for the clamp that holds the paper is plastic and eventually breaks. When that happens it can still be used but is a lot more fiddly.

I have so many disfigured joints that I struggled to manoeuvre into a position to use aid effectively.

Well, i'm glad i bought this, it's easy to use, and it does the job, I have been using Andrex flushable tissues,which can be costly, but at least i feel clean.

Got discarded almost immediately. Didn't really work as intended. Paper doesn't really stick and it's like dangling a piece.. Go get a cheap $30 bidet instead people. works wonders!

This one grabs the paper and holds it tight without having to wrap the paper completely around the head. When the release button is pressed the paper falls away. No fiddling about Completely worth the higher cost than it's competitor model.
