Great product
Works wonders for old wooden single pane windows. My house if from 1930 or earlier and some of the windows are OLD. I used this on 2 old single pane windows and it took me about 30 min total (you're supposed to wait 10 after peeling tape to allow it to set) including wiping surfaces and trimming excess after done. I may have messed up in any number of combined following ways: 1-didnt clean/degrease surface thoroughly enough 2- didn't apply tape to a surface oriented ideally, or 3- over blow-dried and shrank to the point there was too much tension. I think this because on one of the windows I applied the kit to, the tape peeled off the bottom of the frame. I applied the tape to the horizontal surface which I'm guessing is the primary reason but since it didn't come up across the whole thing and only on the one window, I'm assuming the other 2 factors contributed. There is also a possibility of being mechanically impacted because it is behind an open frame style bed headboard and may have been bumped by a pillow. Whatever the cause, I crudely fixed it with masking tape since its not really visible. When the tape peeled off I noticed only because I could feel the cold air blowing through it and there was condensation forming on the room side of the plastic from getting so cold. Once repaired it was back to being wonderfully non drafty. I would even consider use in summer if you don't mind your blinds in a fixed positionAnother note, there really is a fair amount of material. I was a little worried since my windows are abnormally large (common for age I suppose) but there was more than enough to work with. Im very satisfied with this product
