Excellent Compact-sized DVD Player with Great Picture Quality!
Really impressed with the Ceihoit DVD Player! It’s compact which is what badly needed in tiny British homes, easy to set up, and it is complete with both HDMI and AV output options— also all the necessary cables are included, which is an advantage. It offers a clear and crisp picture quality, making it perfect for watching my old DVD collection on a modern TV and a laptop. Glad I did not throw DVDs away :)What I also love is the USB input, which lets me play digital media files easily. It also supports both PAL and NTSC systems, so I’ve had no issues playing discs from different regions. The DVD-VCR combo support is a bonus if you have mixed-format media. It’s reliable, affordable, and very user-friendly. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality DVD player that won’t take up too much space!

Seems good so far, one or two things to be aware of...
I really like the small size of this unit. Be aware that to get any kind of volume you will need to plug in the red and white cables as well as the HDMI, but you'll still need to turn the volume way up. Also the unit is likely to be completely unresponsive to controls, either the buttons on the unit itself or the controls on the remote, when first powered up: simply unplug it and power it up again and it should work properly. The one disadvantage I have noticed in use is that there's no way to tell how far along your programme is - no time counter, no progress bar etc., even on pause. However overall it works and seems reliable so far, is well priced and doesn't take up much space. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose TV has no DVD player but who still has a fair number of DVDs - this solves that issue!

Great, compact and light
The media could not be loaded. I was impressed with this compact little DVD player, its small and super light so it would be great to pack away in a bag if travelling somewhere with a few DVD if you’re stayigg by somewhere with a TV but patchy or not great WiFi for streaming. We have consoles and a blue ray player at home but find it handy to have a little dvd player we can pull out if and when needed, when not in use it can just be tucked away in a drawer. This would also be good for use in the garden with a projector because it’s light and not bulky so won’t get in the way.The projector comes with everything you’ll need in the box already, including an AV cable, a HDMI cable (saving you from having to either buy one or dig one out!) , a power cord and a compact remote. It’s really easy to set up as it’s just a case of plugging it in, popping in a DVD and it’s ready to go! It does have other external inputs available such as USB so you could use it to play photo slideshows or movies stored to a memory stick - handy if you’re showing them to an older relative with a slightly older tv.The dvd player performs well, as can be seen in the video and photo attached, it’s also quiet when running. Overall it’s easy to use, compact and great value for money.

Compact and Versatile!
The Ceihoit DVD Player has been a great find! Its compact size is ideal for space-conscious UK homes, and setup was refreshingly straightforward. It comes ready to go with both HDMI and AV outputs, plus all the necessary cables—no extra shopping required. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, breathing new life into my old DVD collection on both my TV and laptop. I'm definitely glad I held on to those discs! One standout feature is the USB port, which makes playing digital media files incredibly convenient. It also supports both PAL and NTSC formats, so I've had no trouble with discs from overseas. And if you're like me and still have some older media formats, the DVD-VCR combo compatibility is a thoughtful touch.Overall, it’s a dependable, affordable player that’s easy to use and doesn’t dominate your living space. A solid choice if you're after a modern DVD solution in a compact package.

Perfect way to play your nostalgic DVD collection
Despite the convenience of streaming services, my partner enjoys the nostalgia of putting on an old DVD, scrolling through the menus, and watching her vast collection of movies of which many are not readily available to stream. This little player is absolutely fantastic for that! It's nicely compact; in our case it can be conveniently tucked away between the back of the TV and the wall mount arm when not being used (this won't apply to every TV mount, so check the dimensions before buying). There are limited menu options which makes it great for plug & play usage - and let's be honest, it isn't priced towards the moviephile end of the market either. The picture quality is perfectly acceptable, though it difficult to judge given that DVDs have a lower resolution than even a mediocre stream, and your TV will probably have some auto scaling solution for anything that isn't played at it's native resolution. The USB power connector is a surprise, and is nice to have given the abundance of chargers and adapters we all have in our homes these days. The remote is very responsive and works well, butjit does rely on line-of-sight to the front of the player - bear that in mind when you picture tucking it away in a cupboard out of sight. The plastic body doesn't feel premium, because it's not premium. More importantly, the manufacturing tolerances are tight enough that the machine sits very flat on all 4 of its feel, with no rocking or wobbling to note. For the price, you really can't say fairer than that!Surprisingly, and really quite impressively, it's absolutely silent when in operation! The tray mechanism is reasonably quiet too, without that harsh sound that makes you worry if you'll be getting your discs back in one piece.

Read the specs when purchasing
Lightly disappointed, despite USB port this will not play all formats on flash drives. Otherwise easy to set up and use.

Cannot connect to TV
My Samsung smart TV would not recognise this player despite changing the HDMI cable in case it was faulty .The TV has no phono sockets so HDMI is the only option I tried a replacement with the same result Left it too long to return it so left with a useless box.Other brand player connected straight away with no issues
